Hope this is on topic enough, if not, feel free to move it mods.

CanTeen has started selling their fundraising bandannas at $4 each. I saw them at Railway Metro after the CCM and noticed one of them in Phoenix colours. Grabbed it and might wear it to the next match. According to the info sheet there's two - one with black, yellow and white circles, and a yellow one with black dots or something on it. So just putting it out there, if anyone is looking for a bit more yellow to wear at the Ring of Fire, here's a chance to do so and support a great charity at the same time.

/has no connections to CanTeen, honest!

Ya. I saw some on the concourse and wondered when they started selling Phoenix bandannas. Took seeing one up close to realise they have nothing to do with the nix.

What a cool idea, supporting Canteen and colours that support the Nix! I'll have three please!

also, anyone know where you can - if you can, get Nix sew-on patches? I could do awith a few for friends overseas and my own Nix type support gear!

That is an exceptional ideal robb.

if someone knows how to get in contact with them, we could see if they can a.) come sell them at the fever lounge on sunday b.) sell them at the ground next home game (which is unfortunatelya  while off) and c.) we can put a mention on the site somewhere how you get hold of one.

ill try and remember to look into it but if some has the time to take the initiative that would be great. nice thing to do. if someone knows a phone number PM me and ill ring them.

There is a whizz bang embroidery shop set up in Reading Courtney movie mall and am sure they could copy the logo and create a patch or three for you.

There might be a similar outfit in Westfield Queensgate as well but can't be certain on that one.....

Might look into a Nix bandanna for MOvember.....reckon a bandanna will go down well with my handlebar moustache.....Tom Selleck or Axel Rose......hhmmmmm

Anyone into looking as porn and cheesey as we can in Phoenix colours for MOvember home games - BigDunc, you're got the look going a week early fella.....

It's only for a week (according to their not-very-useful-for-me website). But 0800 CANTEEN seems to be a phone number of sorts.

Burger King sell the CanTeen bandannas, they have since I worked there and I saw them on sale the other day when I went for lunch.  I can't say I looked at the colours though, I've been known to go overboard on those before - the first year they were at BK I bought every colour there was XD

sounds good - would be nice if the "powers that be" allowed CANTEEN the right to put the Phoenix emblem on the yellow bandannas; all sale proceeds to CANTEEN

Perhaps these are both items the club could take on board along with badges for supporters to buy - along with coffe mugs etc. I see they have now got keyrings for sale.

Well maybe Yellow Fever could submit one next year, even if something as simple as yellow with footballs on it, endorsed by YF. Would be good publicity for the club and a chance to for Canteen to market the product to football fans.

Right - we sold about 20 the other night at the lounge. Thanks to everyone who bought one. Remember to hold onto them for the Sydney game

REMEMBER -
1.)  these bandannas are for good cause in Canteen
2.) they look brilliant and ridiculous at the same time (perfect)
3.) they are spot on Nix colours
4.) they will be on sale again at the lounge during away games and then at the backbencher pre-Sydney game
5.) we want to get as many people in the Zone wearing them during the sydney game - it will look quality
6.) they are only $4
7.) there are 101 different ways to wear a bandanna
8.) THERE IS NO EXCUSE

Smithy, if you read this, or anyone else who took the photos on Sunday, please post a couple of them on this thread to illustrate the quality i am talking about.
