As in any sport and as much in ours than anyone else's, people will always associate with winners.
The chants after the crowd was announced on Sunday, (Where were you when we were Cr*p), were humourous, but arent we perhaps cutting off our nose etc. Pop shots at a limp TVNZ, Deaker etc who now want to know us could better be taken as a victory to those who have been there from the start.
Lets face it, if 5000 of the extra 14000 that turned up this week front up for the first game next season, we will be better off.
And if the bandwagon keeps rolling on, they will stay.
On the other hand, if we start to take  a decline and slump to the bottom, lets hope we do it so fast that the bandwagoners (New word) will be to scared to jump off.
There is always a positive slant to any situation, even rapid decline.

I would have thought a decline would be a negative slant.

Look, the chant is just a bit of fun. There are much more antagonistic chants directed at fair weather supporters that i wouldn't endorse, but the 'Where were you...' is a time honoured bit of banter that I certainly won't stop singing (until we get 13000 average!).

No big deal in my eyes.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.
