Banner Question

Hey guys I've got a question that I'm hoping somebody will be able to help me with. At the moment I'm making a banner, like one of those real big ones that you see in the crowds at matches in Italy and South America etc, and I'd like to put Ross Aloisi's face in the middle of it, and I'm wondering if anybody knows the process of how you get the picture blown up to a big size and copied onto the material. If any of you saw the big Romario banners that the Adelaide fans had last season you'll know what I'm talking about lol.
Thanks

...Why Ross..Why not Costa, Ferrante, Daniel even...And I think you will need find a professional printer to do that.

Yeah I'm thinking about maybe putting one of the Brazilian players on it instead, but I think it'll be cool putting Ross on it becasue I've always been a fan of his.

Just a suggestion before you go rushing and making banners, dont forget stadium security can be right prats and it might pay to clear this up with the stadium management.Would hate to have half our banners taken before they can be unfurled.

Banners should be alright (traditionally) but poles to use for flags and things are likely to be a no no (I've had to get my NZ flag smuggled in on team buses before).

As for a banner, depending how large you want it, an overhead projector is a very good way of getting an image blown up.  Pin your cloth to the wall and project it on to the cloth and paint it, or draw it from the projector and put it on the ground to paint it.

if we're gonna start smuggling stuff in why not bring a couple of flares along... that will add a little european flair

Flares will cost the club a significant amount of money in fines.  If you want to bankrupt Terry and co. feel free.

Over here in Korea, the supporters club is able to store their large banners at the stadium itself. They have those really long ones that get draped over the railings. Take about 6 people to carry, so much more convenient. Maybe you could talk to club/stadium management?

Of course, security is less hostile here, our fans have flares, plastic poles for flags, and I have no problems walking in with beer and food from outside.

Yeah, That is probably the best way to go, Instead of trying to sneak 'em in, which the security will find easily.
