With the pending arrival of Becksmania, Yellow Fever caught up with Becks predecessor, former Galaxy midfielder, Wellingtonian and NZs number one authority on all things LA Galaxy and MLS, Simon Elliott.

The full interview, which covers Elliotts injury woes, the Premiership, MLS, Galaxy, Beckham and the Phoenix can be found at - http://www.yellowfever.co.nz/show-news.asp?ID=1263

You can also catch Elliott as the guest panelist on Yellow Fever's next Beckham Special Podcast.

Brilliant write up Marius!

Surely, scoring the winner in the final of the '92' Under 19's tournament would rate up there as a career highlight!

Good to see your taste in London bars is as bad as your English football teams  . .  Surely it' s about time a London YellowFever drinks event was organised. . . . I'm working 10 mins walk from London Bridge. .  perhaps a few pints down near borough market sometime? Any takers? LondonChris, you in? DiscoMart?

Ahh yes the old cross come shot that fooled everyone!
A bit of luck was needed after the marathon semi final shoot out!

Reg did a fantastic Haka to put off the Waikato penalty takers in the semi. It worked wonders.
(i scored 2 pens in the shootout by the way...nothing major)
