Seeing we're (mostly) ripping off Chuck Norris facts, here's one of my favourites.

If you enter Ben Sigmund into Google search, nothing comes up.
You don't find Siggy, he finds you.

@Siggy2010 doesn't tackle Alex Brosque. Alex Brosque tackles himself for @Siggy2010

Keep them coming in guys and if you are on Twitter please make sure you are following @Siggy2010Facts and join in with the #BenSigmundFacts hashtag.

I'm in the process of trying to get some prizes for the best Ben Sigmund Facts!

I'm hoping it might also spur Siggy to return to Twitter.

Although to be honest Siggy doesn't need Twitter - he's already following you!

What he said. Chuck Norris jokes are average, the football relation makes those particular Siggy quotes better.

YES - WHERE THE HELL IS SIGGY?
I only go on Twitter for the football - and Siggy hasn't been on in like . . a month and a half.

Ben Sigmund wears boots and shin pads to protect the other players.

Referees never show Siggy a red, they are too afraid he will charge and flatten them.

The FFA considered an entire new league for Siggy only but they didn't want to take the gloss off the A League.

Ben Sigmund doesn't pass the ball to other players. He lends it to them.

When Ben Sigmund does push-ups he doesn't go up, the earth goes down.

Fuck this stupid game

Siggy hasn't read the #bensigmundfacts yet, but I mentioned it to him tonight at members drinks.

He is also not likely to return to Twitter.

or are you assuming?

Nah I've heard he left for reasons and was unlikely to come back.

were people giving him sh*t after that 3-0 loss against Adelaide? That was the last time he was on.    It's a bit disappointing, he's got over 2.2k followers. certainly doesn't harm the club having a player using the social media to increase interest.

He said it.

I talked to him at the bar for about 5 minutes, teased him about drinking water while the beers were free :)

Well if he has left for reasons I guess that is it then.

All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

I can back that up. Except the water v. beer comment, I unfortunately missed that bit haha.

Sigmund ready to build on life changing year

love the last paragraph "You get to the end of the season and everyone is buggered," he says. "But you know your chances of getting in the top six are there, so you just give it everything."

Still interested in his reasons for giving twitter the flick, seems odd. Perhaps he did cop some flak

He wants to focus on his family. Nothing odd about that, especially with the premature arrival of a firstborn child.

was twitter causing him to neglect that part if his life,or rather was it taking up that much of his time? It seems the sort of thing you spend a minute or so on a day,if that.

Depends how you use it. He got a LOT of interactiion, I imagine it would have taken up more time for him than some. I don't believe for a second that he'd neglect his family, so I'm guessing fatherhood helped him lose interest in it.

Ard Righ probebly remembers his reasoning better than I do though

Siggy spells Tommy Smith with an 'i"

I have an amazing ability to find my way out of mazes. I'm pathological.
