Bertos' new job?

Leo Bertos was working in the manners street cafe today at lunchtime.

Does this strike anyone else as odd?

I figured it was either an earthquake fundraiser, in which case good on him, or the nix are really really short on cash.

Anyone know anything about this?

Kinda of ironic that name.  Zorro shows up somewhere and leaves his mark (with a z). Bertos shows up on a football field and doesn't leave a mark at all.

Well his cross led to the goal against Bahrain that got us into the World Cup  last year ,not a bad mark to leave  really!

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

He deserves it, I saw him wearing a Real Madrid shirt the other day.
Doesn't he realize Barca is so much better?

Ah, the luxury of being from NZ and objectively choosing "your" teams. I have neither. I do have a League One team, hopefully to soon be a Championship team.

Will check out Leo's cafe at some point. Not sure why he's getting a wee bit of stick on here. This hasn't been his best season for us, but he's been a good player for both the Nix and AWs. And the one time I met him at a club thing, seemed a jolly nice guy too.
