I am one of Leo's biggest fans but as I have said before that the longer the season goes on the less he performs.
In the first 6 weeks of the season- he was on fire.

I think he did well tonight, I was disappointed to see him come off. Should have been Caceras for the injured lochy. Dadi should have stayed on the bench. he was terrible

Leo certainly aint the player he was at the beginning of the season. I cant think for the life of me why he takes all the corners and free kicks...there pretty sh*t

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Nothing wrong with his corners tonight, they were all really well delivered and had that dangerous dip n' curl.

Although im seeing too many chances from free kicks going a miss lately, i dont know what they do at training as far as free kicks go but they need to start backing themselves more outside the box. Im spending about 8hours a week myself (outside of team training) on mine and theyre spot on, and Im sure Bertos/Caceres/whoever could do alot better than me!

Leo was great tonight in the first half. Really great. A lot of fans seem to have gone off him big time for some reason and bagging him a lot recently. Again tonight, he brought some great creativity to the game for us. Was well needed when we were struggling.

I thought so, he was a little tired in the second but he wasnt the only one. Hes always really dangerous on the break and gains A LOT of ground while running with the ball. Hes also able to get himself out of sticky situations when confined to a corner of the pitch whether it be beating his man or winning a corner, something I think only Ifill does better.

In the first half I thought he was much better than he has been recently and getting back onto form.

Connection issues from both AFC and Justin TV in the second half...Grrr

After reading some of these posts, I think I definitely must have been watching the wrong game today. Or was there another Leo Bertos out there?

Thought his delivery was better than usual today and he made some good runs, but lost possession too often for my liking. Faded badly round the hour mark.

Leo has definetly gone down hill from the start of the season, even so, we could have done with his corners at the end as Caceres couldn't deliver at all.

Leo had his start of season form tonight in the first half. Went downhill after 50/60 minutes as mentioned earlier. And yea, his crosses were really good tonight. Performed a lot better than Caceres I thought.

Bertos isn't better than Daniel in my opinion, and Bertos' stepovers are the worst I've ever seen.  He should never do them, EVER.

Tonight, though, he wasn't the best and was far from the worst but did fade as was mentioned.

And whoever said Dadi was poor needs to look again.  He did what he was asked to, could've done a few things better but since game one this was probably his best performance.

Dadi: a couple of massive defensive headers late on. More than did the job asked of him.

I wish Bertos had the confidence to shoot at the goal when he's in a position to do so.

I thought Leo was getting back to form in the first half especially. Just in time for the playoffs.

As for Dadi, he did his role well, controlled the long pass under pressure and lay it off as well as doing some cracker defensive headers. Linked well with Timmo, Caceres and Lia. Shame the ref didn't see that handball, there was no way Dadi could have follow up after the ball was hand tap away from his left leg as he was going to shoot. There was no enough time to react again as the other defender cleared it away.

I really rated Bertos' performance tonight, he worked incredibly hard up and down the field and the majority of his corners and freekicks were the best i've seen them for a long time, plus he was looking dangerous on the ball. He's not up to the standard that we was in the first 5-6 weeks as I think opposition defenses have figured him out a bit, but he's getting there and definitely deserves his starting spot.

Have to be honest- assists leader- but has hit nothing in two seasons apart from the miracle free kick. Caceres hasn't been much better really.

on the commentary man u everton they were saying most goals in the prem inside the box- so Leo, Lia  and Caceres shooting from distance (for about one shot on target all year) is really low percentage stuff...

The good thing about Brown is he is generally on target- I'd say at least 80%, and that's reflected in his goals- though again most of these in the box.

Leo was OK, but shouldn't start next week due to the Mexico game

there was nothing dangerous about the corners tonight or any other night, players mass in the box and they get long balls, they go to the back of the box and they short ball comes in...to be fair none of the others do good corners either.... and absolutely none of them look interested when there is a throw in....troy hearfield would need arms like arnie to throw the ball as far as some of the other players expected!!

Same with Brown, Lochy, Siggy then???

I dont think that will make a difference, especially if he is in for for the Kiwis. Seems to me he has been getting better lately, ie back close to his sizzling start form
