Best A League hat trick

I think we have just witnessed the best A League hat trick. The skill level required for those three goals was outstanding. Powell's effort on the pitch every game is suddenly rewarded in the best possible way.

They reckon that when playing, you always have 1 game where everything clicks as if all the planets were in alignment. Blake had his at this stage of his career. If he can surpass that then so be it but at least he can live in the knowledge that he had such a moment.

Berisha's 6 minute hattrick was pretty good.

There has been 32 hattricks in the A-League, there has been some discussion around if this is the first perfect one (Head, left foot, right foot).

I once scored 6 in a match against the Jest in Newcastle. All with my schlong.

Would have scored more but I woke up

David Williams the worst player on that list to score a Hatrick?

Which team has conceded the most Hatricks - looks like we have been the victim only twice which is pretty good.

On Twitter, trying to think if any of the other hattrick scored in the A-League were perfect ones.

I don't have a twitter account but I do often peruse some people's feeds - footballers, musicans etc.

Any tips on using it in a more effective manner i.e. reading the discussion you speak of? Feeling super old and out of touch here, but what is the best way to try and do that?

Create an account, follow a few accounts and get stuck in. You can't go far wrong (and if you do, you never go back - so no downside).

Yeah just create an account and follow others with same interest. There is a whole lot of YF people on there and quite often interact with other fan groups and news people involved in Football in Australia.

either you click on a tweet and see the conversation under it or you search for a hash tag like #WSWvWEL to see tweets relating to a subject, you don't need to be a member but you need to remember who you want to follow if your not. The interface is actually a bit shark when it comes to following threaded conversations.

Yea thanks Ryan.

Sorry forgot to mention I was hoping to avoid creating an account. I like not having any social media presence, aside from YF, but I do feel I miss out a bit when it comes to things like this. Might just bite the bullet and create an account... am very aware that these might be my famous last words...

Some people create accounts that have no information or tweets just to follow people. You can always do that.

yea was just thinking that

thanks for advice guys

now back to that hattrick... so what is the consensus, is it the first perfect a-league hattrick?

I think it is, can't find any other reference to any of the other hattricks being perfect ones and you would like that would have been in the articles about them.

That is pretty awesome.

We've gone from no hattricks in our history to two hattricks, including a perfect one with an extra goal, in 12 months. Bloody beaut.

How many players have scored 4 or more goals in any single A League match?

Smeltz also got four one game and then a hat trick the next, so the only player to get back to back hat tricks.

A few other Kiwi hatties in the NSL Aaron Silva for the Kingz; and Denis Ibrahim 2 for the Kingz.
