Alrighty children,

Get your excuses in to the missus early doors, and sort yourself out a free Saturday night.

Because here's what's coming your way:

3pm - Yellow Fever Freestyle Football

5(ish) pm - pre-game at the Backbencher.  Let's get a bumper turnout.

6pm - Kick Off - whatever the crowd size let's make it loud!

8-10pm - post-game HAPPY (2) HOUR(s) at The Ave on Courtenay Place...get this:

2 for 1 pints.
$10 Margarita jugs.
$10 Margherita pizzas by Raf de Gregorio.

BOOM!

10:30pm - Movember Party at Four Kings.  Prizes.  Silly face slugs.  Christian Cullen.  Andrew Durante.  Michael Greene.

And then from there, who knows!

Plan a big night Saturday with Yellow Fever, The Bencher, The Nix, The Ave and the Kings!

Huge.

Hi
Coming up from ChCh for this one. Chanting, beers and Margarita's. Yes!
Is there a bus on to get to Ave after the game, or do most people just walk?

Both options available - you can get a bus from the train station which is right by the stadium down to that end of town, or it's a half hour walk along the waterfront.

We're not putting a bus on for this one because in the past the uptake has been poor.

So either leg it, or catch a cab, or get a bus from the station as Paulinho says.

News and 2ndBest and I have already booked our cab.

Boxhead has to pop home first and check if he's allowed.

Guessing it's Electric Avenue, opposite corner to Four Kings, next to Molly's

Indeed.  Electric Ave later in the evening when it's all about the d-floor.  'The Ave' for casual boozing and noms.

Correct.  No mention of it because YELLOW FEVER FOOTBALL FREESTYLE > Futsal.

The earlier matches don't clash. Could always cheer on Capital City Futsal v. the Aussies then head over to Queens Wharf...

For you try lipstick or whiteboard marker, something that easily goes onto a mirror surface.

Down at the 4 kings last night a casual visitor to our fair town might have been forgiven for thinking the were in a gay bar...with the very camp party outfits and the 'village people' mo's......lol

The cider was not bad though
