just wanted to thank all you guys for the reception us Victory
"away" fans received during our stay.
Flew in Thursday and got back this morning.
had a great night out with the yellow Fever at the backbencher
on Firday night, to the point we had to put our star player for the
supporters match in a cab at 11pm cos he couldnt walk
anymore!!
Had a ball playing the match on Saturday and enjoyed the pre
match banter at the backbencher on Sunday, even if we were a little
outnumbered!
Although I would like to have come home with the three points,
a 2-2 draw with almost 15k was a great result for football In
Wellington, and heres hoping you guys can build on those results
for the rest of the season!
If any of you guys come over for either of the Melbourne
matches get in touch with me and we will look after you over
here!!

Phoenix will probably have the smallest away crowds visiting us, it's a long way for those Aussies to come. Don't be put off though, Wellington is party town!

Yeah it was great to see you at the Bencher Friday night. I'm
impressed by your commitment - especially the guy who played the
friendly on Saturday with a fractured ankle! You guys are
loyal - I like! (no Borat-type phrase intended, since it's well
overused).

Overall .. fantastic to see what you've put together in way of

.. I've a big soft spot for Welly (and Palmy North !! props to
