Why is it that the only crowds to cause trouble (including the old NSL teams) all originate from Melbourne?! *cough* Knights, South, Victory *cough*

T'wernt us, my good man. I had a very pleasant trip myself, didn't see any nasty stuff.

Apart from the toilet in our backpacker's dorm...what we did to that could be construed as a war crime.

Very good impression of an Egyptian swimmer there k_p,

In de Nile!

Was it a bunch of passing tourists that decided to run into the SCC bay (which is now beside the Cove at the other end of the stadium from the away bay) and take a few swings

I can only speak for myself and the hundred or so at the Bat and Ball. We were well behaved, had a great time and didn't hurt nobody. As I understand it there was issues with the other main group but I can't speak for them as I wasn't there. I loved the fact that all the flare action came from the Sydney fans though!

All in all, not a bad trip. Sydney's nice, the locals are friendly and the pubs are good - no complaints, and I'd recommend it to any Nix fan contemplating going.

Reading the news reports - it sounds like it was well before kickoff. So any self respecting Tard (and there a few :) would've still been in the pub!.

No doubt a few eejits had read too much of the 'Taking of the Cook' thread and got a bit fired up, and with the Police keeping Victory fans well away from the Cook (that's what it reads like in the Papers, and as I had suggested would happen), decided to have a go at the Stadium.

What is it about the SCC the BwB (or other hangers on) dislike so much, the Sydney v Melbourne game last season (and the reason the SCC were moved) there were pool balls thrown at SCC and another few demented Victorians steaming into the SCC bay.

The other mob, bless.

How's that BTW? Your window gets smashed, and before you know what's going on some bloke sheepishly hands you a beer glass full of money!
