FFS its only a few drums to add atmosphere, trust me if they didnt, they wouldnt be so popular in europe.

FFS am I reading this right or are we all asking for musical instruments on this thread? Most of us hated the drumming that made sporadic appearances over the last 2 seasons and now what we want an orchestra?
Anyone seen any England Internationals with those tw*ts who play the Dambusters theme endlessly again and again? Are we asking for something like that?
Anyone who has been to a rugby match knows the atmosphere is rubbish but that's rugby. It's almost traditional that you have a sh*t and boring time going to a rugby match but then what do you expect with such a turgid sport?
What we do is different, we make our own music with our singing and chants and we do a good job most of the time.
Let's not be silly we do not want musical instruments at the match.

no you are reading it wrong. The point was one rule for rugby and another for footy. I'd like to get some decent banners/flags in but they have rules one that - but seems they can overlook even stricter rules (eg instruments) for egg chasing

i don't see why we cant have big flags i see them at Warriors games in Auckland and i mean whats the difference between us and them besides the fact its in Wellington and Auckland.

Different Stadium, different rules. We used to get up to all sorts of crap that the stadium here would explode over. In fact after one of the Kingz games here security tried to biff the leader of Bloc 5 for standing on a seat, they would collapse in a corner rocking back and forth if we carried in three Kleensacks of confetti as we did for one game at Ericsson.
Incidentally, three huge bags of confetti... turns out that's an awful lot, remnants of whcih were still in Bay 12 at Ericsson as much as three years later.

It's all about building a fun atmosphere, something the stadium trust have not got the vision to see.
