I said on here after the bottle throwing incident, that I'd shame someone if I saw them throw a bottle. Well just as the second half was about to kick off someone 2 rows behind where I was threw one. He and his mates laughed as the plastic beer bottle hit a Phoenix Staff member on the left shoulder.

Bad luck pal. I took two photos. Your head (of the thrower) appears in part in this one. Your face appears on the 2nd one which I am e-mailing to Tony Pignata. You all thought it was funny well it wasn't, You hit a guy trying to do his job.

I warned people on here I'd do it. Maybe I'm a sad git but I don't want to see the rest of us pay for the actions of a few.

Hey, I'm with you Big Guy. Good work. Sooner these dickheads get the message the better.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

I had kids with me for goodness sake

1 did stop to see if I was ok and me being me let rip and gave them a mouthful

I certainly felt like the crowd was a bit younger and a lot drunker than normal

great result but didn't enjoy being in the zone tonight as much as normal

It wa sbrilliant to meet quite a few users on here tonight. Yourself Mum and Rob Watson, Harry Hotspur, Steve. etc. 3 points and well deserved. I can't wait to see the replay as I want to see why our goal was disallowed. I thought the ref did a pretty good job on the whole. Not because he sent two of theirs off - they left him no choice, but he did try and let the game run.

So a compliment about the ref!

Ps: Tony P, there is an e-mail waiting for you with a photo attached.

From my seat on the couch, I think it was disallowed for offside. When Lia (?) headed the ball, Old seemed to be in an offside position so as soon as he jumped in front of the keeper the flag went up. It was the Linesman's call.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

It did look pretty clear cut but, then again, I am a referee so my eyesight is considerably better than that of normal human beings

BTW. If subsequent replays prove my theory wrong, I blame the drink!

The ref was better than terrible. I even ended up defending him at one point, which earned me a dirty look from Alistair haha but yeah I'd give him a pass grade for tonight.

Havent seen a replay, but I was sitting down that end, he was in front of the keeper, interfering for ages. Right call by the ref.

kind of shocked that perth didnt try to break quicker from the free kick. Something similar happened in a game earlier this season?

    I'm forever throwing bottles,
    Tui bottles in the air,
    They fly so high,
    Nearly reach the sky,
    Then they fall down,
    And hit some guy.
I'm not here for the Phoenix,
I'm here to suck down beer,
I know that I'm asking for,
A hard kick in the rear.

Robb is a class act. I'm honoured to have met him. From cherring the kids on at their half time footie game, you can see he loves his footie.

Dunked. Hope the little miscreant enjoys being blackballed for the rest of the season (hopefully).

But let's not worry about this sort of thing - let's all have a disco! Let's all have a disco! Nah nah nah nah! Nah nah nah nah!

There is a better photo which I have e-mailed to Tony P. But the one I have put on here is to give a reminder to a group of people to behave themselves - which most did. Those innocent should have told the thrower to wind it in instead of cheering him.

Were you wearing the blue and white hoops tonight LG? Could've sworn I saw you on tele pumping your fist amidst the black and yellow.

There seemed to be a lot of young guys there tonight, which is great because they are hopefully the future hardcore faithful of the Phoenix. Sadly youth + high spirits + alcohol sometimes makes a lad do dumb stuff that he later regrets.

Yep that was me. Fist? Never. Next season (or next Friday hopefully) I'll be wearing my Nix Jersey. Yes I am even getting one of those Black ones - The Sony logos break it up a bit. God the Nix have cost me a fortune this year  but I wouldn't change it for anything!!

Top work LoneGunman getting this chaps photo. The community HAS to police itself, or security will crack down and ruin the fun based on the mindless actions of a few.
