it was bad, the refs were pretty crap though and when a decision like that occurs some people are gonna throw crap,   but even still shouldn't happen like stefan said name and shame them.

Big deal, cry me a f**king river.

Perhaps you guys should be more annoyed at the garbage on the pitch (not the bottles) instead of applauding and chanting the team off the park when they were absolute piss.

Hope the ban the drunken dude who threw up all down his shirt and pants and was escorted out. Hope he didnt get the people in front of him.

I noticed they had a camera filmimg the Fever Zone for the whole game so shouldnt be to hard to pick up the offenders who threw bottles.

A dog with a bone :)

I agree the ref was sh** but still bottle throwing shouldn't occur gives the fans, the club and Wellington a bad name imo.

The refs are there for a reason.
No matter how much sh*t I give a ref or player. I still respect them.
The ref is there because he has been chosen. Not you.
The player is there because he was chosen.

You may not like them. But they are better than you. And they are also human beings. So don't f**king throw bottles or anything at players or refs. It's pathetic

I was under the impression humans HAD EYES! You know, to make the right calls and such. Apart from that i agree

I didn't throw anything, nor would I, but I am more concerned with the poor performance than a couple of bottles that missed the ref by about 50 metres.

That was a much weakened Adelaide side, and the talked about attacking game we were promised never got close to materialising.

Defensively - ok. Going forward - utterly devoid of any imagination.

And he wasn't even the one who called the offside anyway. Some of the comments on here have suprised me tbh

If Breeze was the ref I guarantee Brown and possibly Lia would have been sent off (along with Marronne)

all officials are to blame for this one.

So when you say it was a true statement, what you are actually saying is that it wouldn't happen?  A question, have you ever been to a football game in the UK?  Be honest

Yeah, because linesman lying in a pool of blood happened all the time at Millwall.

This has bought up many points.
Thinking before posting is one.

Except this is a thread about throwing bottles. There's another thread discussing whether we were pants and Ricky should go. This is about the non-acceptability of bottle throwing. It's not even about whether the linesman got it right or wrong, it's about the bottle throwing. And hysterical nonsense about fictional linesmen lying in fictional pools of blood in a fictional Millwall have also nothing to do with it.

I felt so angry with the decision, but theres no way we should be throwing stuff at them. Sure a bit of verbal abuse was coming out. But theres no way Physical retaliation is ever ok.

Apparently so, Cosimo. Even if a linesman had ever been stabbed at Millwall (it's never ever happened let alone "happen all the time") what has that go to do with a game in Wellington, NZ?

I don't know how Stefan can sort it out, but good on him if he can!

yep very disappointing to see this kind of rubbish....the bottles came from the top corner of aisle 21-22, I am in row p and they came from behind us but further left there was a heap of security so hope they get caught...
maybe they should ban bottles being taken into the seated area, if you feel the need to get slaughtered stay out by the t.v's and watch

I can only work my magic of you give me a name.

I work for the Police, I was even talking to a few at the game, they said it was a pretty quiet night, cheers to those who made it interesting.
