Three of the Roars young players have been in Holland trialing with FC Utrecht.
Tommy Oar has signed a 5 year contract and Michael Zullo and Adam Sarota have got a 3 year deal.
You can't tell me that we do not have young talent in NZ.
So what are we doing about it?

Good news for Costa I guess ... opens the door for a place in the side a little wider.

He's quick and he's a little fella, so it doesn't need to be too wide.

IBTL.

Discussed in other teams transfer speculation thread in another section.  Can't be bothered finding it for you.

We're doing plenty about it. Including pushing for a youth side in th NZFC with FIFA.

On an international level,we have the age grade teams doing better than they ever have, including the womens age grade side.

Not sure what rock you've been hiding under. Also you're comparing apples with oranges.

Many thanks for that? Follow more football that you ever will, but not living in NZ one does not keep up with all the info.
As for comparing apples with oranges-I was not.
It was not having a go, it was out of concern for NZ football.
As I have been around a lot longer than you,I have seen all these promises before and they have come to nothing.
Hopefully thing have changed.

Oh right. So because you're older, anything you say is right and anything anyone younger says is wrong. Good logic. Also, how do you know how much football I do or do not follow?

I was NOT being patronising, and nowhere did I say that because anyone younger than me is wrong. Perhaps you jumped to the wrong conclusion.

Brisbane have always been good with youth players. Especially when Farina was coaching there. I was very happy (in a NZ/AW perspective) when I heard that Costa had signed for them because in all honesty they are better than us clearly at youth development.

They pick up a lot of young players from AIS.
