Poor throw ins..ball bounces way to high and momentum is lost.

A small town in Europe........looking to bounce straight back up....well that aint going to happen

We need to get more numbers in the box - often we are crossing to only one player.

were lucky not to down by afew. but in saying that we could of been ahead 2-0

Whoa Reece flapping at that so hard I thought he was a seagull.

They are creating a load of chances.  We're struggling at the back, particularly out wide.

Daniel for Costa at half time please.

Incredible stamina. No shame. Yellow Fever.

1-1 at halftime, I guess we'll take it as the Roar have had a plethora of chances.

We gotta stay solid at the back and the chances will come.

Lots of attacking options on the bench for Ricki, and I think Hearfield for Muscat will be one. Troy did start at RB against NQF (when Manny was on international duty), so it's not like he will be unproven. Hopefully Oar will tire.

Moss is half Crowthers size, and probably looks better in the air than Crowther.

We seem to have reverted to a style of play a 5 otr 6 matches ago.....doesnt seem to be gelling.

sigmund and durante also having trouble with power and height of van dijk and heinaldo. first time for long time they have looked ruffled.

Thoughts on first half: Mostly sluggish and shaky, not too good. Crowther has been pretty crap too.

Two changes at HT:

Costa for Daniel
Gould for Crowther.

We're struggling with pace.

Sydney ripped us apart in that first half, and Brisbane are doing the same. Fortunately some poor finishing is keeping us with more than a fighting chance.

All three instances have occurred with Crowther keeping. He's a very heart-in-mouth 'keeper, but he's only young and will hopefully improve.

Yeah I agree, we could and should be 3 or 4 down if not for either luck or inept finishing. In fact their finishing reminds me of us about 8-10 rounds ago

Ifill delivering his standard performance, Greenacre standing out and getting more involved, Bertos roaming the touch line, Brown and Lia marked out of the game, Durante playing a lone hand at the back with the occasional appearance from Lockhead and Crowther scares the sh*t out of me.

Tommy Oar is giving Muscat a lesson in basic 'taking your man to the touchline around the outside and cross' and Ben Sigmund is somewhere at Suncorp, but just not on the pitch. Lia had two warnings so will probably get booked for persistent.

Still feel like we are giving them more of the run around on the counter and that maybe our tactic for this game, defend and try to score on the counter rather than let them get 11 back and build something. Excellent conversion by an unmarked Greenacre

plenty of action - and no doubt a bit to come yet

only read this page but agree stopping Oar would be good

I fairly confident there's at least a point here for us - whilst they've cocked up a few  chance we've also had some decent efforts

if Craig moore tires their back line will struggle even more (no pun intended)

In all fairness to both keepers, Crowther has had 1 flap and palmed the ball at Sergio for the goal. McMaster looks just as convincing as Crowther but they are not having 'howlers'. Just not first choice dependable keepers.

Actually reviewing their goal he did bloody well to get a hand to it

It's not entirely Muscat's fault. Oar is hugging the touchline and when Brisbane break it is often 6 on 5, so Muscat has to watch the man inside him too. Probably Bertos should be dropping back a little to put more positional pressure on Oar, however he is obviously under instructions from Ricki to stay free and wide himself for the counterattack.

Most of our boys look very lethargic I have to say.

Can't rule out Brisbane messing up at the back to let us in but I really expect them to overrun us in the 2nd half. I think that heat is taking a toll on the Nix.
