Buying a Phoenix shirt online

I've been looking to buy a Phoenix shirt online but I've been very unsure of sizes.  I recently bought an XL retro-ricki and it turned out to be far too long for me (no matter, I had it taken up) so does anyone know are the Phoenix shirts about the same size as the retro-ricki's (if they are both L, XL, or whatever) or a bit bigger or smaller?  Just wanting a rough guess so I know which to buy.  It would be far more convenient to just buy one next time I'm in Wellington, but I don't want to wait that long + next time I'm up will be for our home semi and shirts could have sold out.

Oh, and the A-League site is so crap for buying shirts.

Smalls are a last years medium.
My guess is that each size is one size bigger than it says.

Fever shirts have varied over the years too.

Also. the A-league website is run by a smaller company in melbourne.

Yeah, I may just go with RYOS.  So get a size bigger than what you are and it should be right - sweet.

Beside name/number it asks for colour?  I assume that's what colour you want the name and number to be but shouldn't it just be white?

Next pay thursday I should be ordering the shirt.  Looking forward to it.

DO NOT order off the Wellington Phoenix A-League site, have dealt with so many people who have done so and not received their goods. Not sure what is going on with it but have tried to contact the person in charge of it in Australia but to no avail. Just come to the Phoenix store in Hunter Street, we have got a few shirts in stock, be quick as they will sell fast.DKP222010-02-05 19:57:19

Managed to borrow some money and just bought one over RYOS website.  Got Durante #22.  Didn't know what to do with the colour beside name and number so I left it blank, they better know what to do.  I figured it meant what colour do you want the name/number but one option was red (or something like that) and I know nobody'd want that for their name/number so I figure it's something different.

they are quite big. A large might suffice

I have a large black home shirt from the 1st 2 seasons and a medium white away shirt from this year. The medium is way bigger than the large. When I was in the Phoenix shop for the Brisbane Road game, they told me they weren't doing names and numbers anymore. Not sure if that has changed.

Dont buy it from the A-League site, the whole thing is terrible. Buy from Ryos or the Phoenix shop

Yes ... they are still doing names and numbers. Ordered mine last week ... would expect it to be a busy day for sales (shirts and tickets!) there today!

Does anyone else apart from the A-league site do official Reebok lettering/numbering though? I hate it how the Phoenix shirt is the only shirt 'un-badged' on that site aswell.

I want a fully badged and spono'd Phoenix shirt with BERTOS in official lettering and numbering

OK - just on the offchance cos I am kind of desperate and checking Trademe each week: Does anyone have a Large (or maybe medium) 2007-08 home shirt that they want to sell for far too much and send to France for me? I'm talking about the one that's black and has yellow trimming and preferably before Sony started sponsoring them (ie no sponsor)?

If anyone has an idea then please contact me (d_j_stanton @ yahoo.co.uk)

Thanks
