Already mentioned New Zealand was the only team unbeaten at the World Cup - ace.

I'm following this game, watching the Melbourne vs Boca match as well as watching two games of league and keeping an eye on the golf - it's a tough night for me.

We've had more chances but can't finish, Adelaide did miss a complete sitter though.

30 minutes in, 0-0 Phoenix with the better of the chances, hitting the bar. Flores and Van Dijk combining well. #adelaideunited #aleague

Who hit the bar?

They have no better feed than us, so I imagine no point in duplicating what others are already tweeting.

I imagine that they didn't see sending their media staff over to Adelaide to tweet updates for a pre-season match necessary, as opposed to Hamilton where they were onsite anyway.

We set up the club account in April (I helped with transition stuff but nothing major) so the club hasn't had a Twitter feed during the regular season, so we can't really say how they "usually" are. But I imagine it'd be a bit more active during the regular season. Personally I think they're doing a pretty good job.

Ferrante is a better player than Manny in midfield and better than Lia most of the time - just didn't work out with us. Wouldn't be surprised to see him play well somewhere else.

Agreed - great updates from the Hamilton game.

van Dijk heads in front the front post from a clipped Cassio cross. 1-0 #adelaide #aleague

Crap

Both teams missing players - don't think you can read too much into this game either way. (I would say that when we're losing..)

van Dijk disallowed a second from a tight offside call. 1-0 #adelaide

Sounds like we're struggling a bit now

We were the better team in the first 45 by all reports, started sluggishly.  Not the end of the world.
