I wonder if 3,00 convict outfits would send a clear message to the FFA?

Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

Not sure we should do anything to upset general Aussie fans who are behind us

I'd go further than that - I'm positive we shouldn't.  There's a pretty handy groundswell of opinion within the fan base of other clubs saying that the FFA actions are shark.  The absolute LAST thing we should want to do is to alienate them.  That would be absolute suicide.

I'd say a "THANKS FANS, FUCK FFA" banner would do.

Floating an idea here so bear with me.

Those damned empty yellow seats are an eyesore. Even if we get 12 k next game 2 out of 3 seats are empty.

Bring an old T shirt or two or three. Does not need to be Nix gear and Cover the back of a seat with it.

The different colours do actually make a difference. Look at Forsyth Barry for instance.

Just a thought.

Best not make it a Liverpool blanket though.

TEN MORE YEARS on the banner again????

I just emailed everyone at my work (over 300 people) to support the Phoenix and sent them Piney article. Even if that gets a few people along to the game, that would be good.

It will be getting these people along to a game and making it awesome that they want to come back.

Air New Zealand could help by having game day flights that leave 2 hours after the final whistle.

There's a bunch of us who would stay on for the game, but don't want the expense of a hotel on top.

that's actually an awesome idea, if everyone did this in the seats over the other side of the stadium then assuming we wouldnt get in trouble that could make the stands look less sharke.

McLean park has the right idea in this respect, they have different coloured seats dotted around and the place looks full even when it is not.

^ yea that's generally the way it's done these days at a lot of stadiums.

Not sure what they were thinking back in 1999/2000 when ours went up...

Just noticed there are a few Hamiltonians around this board, any suggestion of a Hamilton Phoenix Supporters group? I'd be keen to get involved, could also help to arrange trips to Auckland/welly games going forward? (Better late than never)

Suggest maybe starting a new thread for Hamilton fans to get in touch with each other to organize watching games and traveling to them.

I saw an Auckland one was just started earlier today.

Perhaps someone can link all the groups from this main page.  eg  Brisbane Chapter,  Auckland Chapter etc
