I drive my car to Phoenix games. I am happy to pick people up who want a ride, especially for those for whom the cost of getting to and from games is putting them off attending.

I park near the ground, for free, so you don't have to chip in for parking.

PM me if you'd like a ride to games.

I live in Khandallah, and I'm happy to pick people up from any of the following areas: Newlands, J'ville, Broadmeadows, Khandallah, Ngaio, Kaiwharawhara, Croften Downs, Wadestown, Northland, Wilton, Kelburn, Aro Valley, Te Aro, Highbury, Brooklyn, Vogeltown, Newtown, Hataitai, Roseneath, Oriental Bay, Mount Cook, Mount Vicotria. I am assuming if you live in Thordon or the CBD you don't need a lift... but hell I'll pick up from there too...

If you live outside that zone, feel free to PM me too and we will see what we can do.

Even you Coops.

If others want to offer or ask for car pooling, just add to this thread.

I posted in the other thread but got no bites.

OUT OF TOWNERS - do you car pool? Does your inability to get a ride or ride share affect your ability to get to Nix games?

What am I getting at here?

Does the new Yellow Fever website have the ability to incorporate some sort of ride share scheme to allow people or organise rides?

...which sounds like the PERFECT scenario to find people who would like to car pool.

Where do you come from?

How do you get to the ground?

yeah, it was something I was considering at some point. My shift work roster sort of ruins it though (hence why a multi-game ticket, rather than an out-and-out full season pass would suit me better - as per other thread).

Oh and no petrol $'s and a car with 360,000kms on the clock. I live life on the edge people. Hardcore extreme.

I'm more than likely to be driving down and back from Napier in a day for at least one more game this season as all 4 home matches remaining are on Sunday's.

Always room for another Phoenix fan (and sometimes a weird Palmy Gooner!)

You just made me think of the movie Run Fatboy Run...then because of that I thought of Thandie Newton...now a puppy may die tonight and it's all because of YOU Junior82!

Hope you feel guilty!

When I used to drive in from the Hutt (and before I spent hours in the pub pre and post match) I used to park in the Stout Street car parking building.  It's like 3 bucks for 12 hours on the weekend if I recall correctly

End of an era.  Vinnie - It's over.

If anyone cares for my inane babbling follow @iluvnix17 on the Twitter.

Maybe PM Gooner4Life as he usually gets the bus down and back!

Naked Bus leaves Palmy normally at 10-50am on Sunday and gets to Welly at 1-00pm right outside McDonalds opposite the train station. Return trip is about $25-$30.
I've done this trip a few times and its way cheaper than taking your car (well, my car anyway) and you don't have to worry about parking.
