What a great game this young guy had against Newcastle. A superb
performance and a massive improvement .Best wishes to him and all
the best for a great season

Yea he is bout 26 which prob rules him out of the young category but agree he was on good form on sunday. Despite his lack of pace, his organisational qualities at the back were crucial and he has prob played himself into a starting spot at centre back from now on.

He dosent lack pace, may look like he's running slow but I would
bet he is one of the quicker guys in the squad.

Yeh even if our shooting is off, our defence is now looking
good. I voted for Lochhead.

u are obviously not the fitness trainer for the phoenix, no chance dodd is one of the quickest in the squad he looks like he is always running uphill into a wellington southerly.

Ha Ha, but God and Ricki loves a try'er

a mate of mine rated Dodd from the sydney game, i prefer Clebo's
blood and thunder approach but then again, my mate has the coaching
badges - i don't
the lad certainly looked composed, but I'm still hankering
after a Dodd/Clebo combination

defending is about organisation and communication, of which clebo
is f**king atrocious. yeh he can hack and headbutt, but dodd/o'dor
is the safe combination less brainsnap moments.

i agree, Clebo is strong and WELL ARD!!, but he makes me nervous
when he goes in for those lunging tackles, when already on a yella

I've never seen him headbutt anyone
and he has been known to play the ball along the ground
most importantly against Victory it was him that came out for
the second half and set the tone!!

Agreed. Dodd was superb against Sydney.
Was also quality against the Jets.
I like Clebo, but O'Dor didn't do a lot wrong a centre back
this week.

I'm not getting into a sl*gging match.
Just ask anyone in the team and they will tell you I'm right,
or you can watch him run down opposition strikers.

Cleberson was absolutely terrible against Central Coast, and I don't see him starting again any time soon unless Dodd or O'Dor get injured.

O'Dor seemed to do that best. He seemed real fast when it came down to it.
