Something to listen to if you're bored. These guys are much better commentators than the ones in Perth.

Watching......CCM should be 2 or 3 up already....frantic start to the game.  Aloisi looking hungry!

Bluetongue Stadium is certainly the most picturesque in the league but odd that there are no supporters behind goal at the harbour end of the pitch?

Cheers Coxey, left the telly for a few minutes and came back to find Sydney with only 10 men.

What about that display from Archie on the break there ?  Retard.

Melbourne are looking the most likely to score. Archie has been immense in this game since the send off.

Victory infront, great goal for Hernandez from a good ball by Allsopp.

Victory not in front.  Scrappy finish from Petrovski after Theo fails to hold a weak shot from Aloisi.

Keenan they can live without, but Vargas with the central defenders they already have dodgy is a big issue.   Hard News2007-11-04 21:02:51

What was Keenan thinking? If I was his team mate I'd be gutted with him for letting the side down so early in the game. Why do you need to make a tackle like that in that area of the park anyway?

Sympathies to Melbourne, but I'm glad they didn't pick up points from the game, because at least it means not everybody is running away from us, with both Queensland and Sydney winning this weekend.

I say that with no disrespect to Melbourne, because they showed tremendous character and ability, and are a superb side. They deserved something from the game.

Then come to the ring of fire and watch us play Melbourne. That was exciting. As was the Perth game.

Hopefully there's a few more in store for us in the remainder of the season...

Rainbow, sunshine, and candy coated lemon drops every one is happy when   .................. Mariners win ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ? ?

Match report I through our mids were out played by Victory, Tommy P our best player in V 1 & 2, lost a lot of ball as did Hutch, redeemed themselves at the death with great goal. However give lots of credit for the goal to Lawie in pushing three up front dragged their defence out of shape which helped create room in the mid field for Tommy P & Hutch.

Only a few feet away from the first red card, if it were me at least 4 weeks studs up into chest and could have slide higher is just plan bad sportmanship.

Matt Simon created a lot with his pace up front in a three man attack, and as i said earlier big tick to Lawie three at back three up front in the last twenty min's. It worked when 4 4 2 was not.

My best on park was Archie he played his arse off after the send off and is so elusive on the ball. Aloisi just had someone on him all day but he open up space for others in closing him down.

It was a great match from the sidelines my take Mariners were on top first 15 & last 15 mins of the match the rest belonged to Victory.

But a win is a win and    .............................  We are back; top of the Table,
                                                                               Top of the table
                                                                               Top of the table

Cheers YF and good luck against the Roar

Get off it. That was probably the first "boring" game that we've played all year and I was damn thankful for how "boring" it was in the last five minutes thank you.

we're in trouble.

we have lost the following CB:
-Leijer
-Milecivic
-Piorkowski
-Pantelidis
-Ryall
-Vargas

and with the loss of keenan, the only defenders we have left is pace and kemp. so musky will have to go back to defend, and i hope brebner can replace in in midfield who is also injured.
what an unlucky season we are having

(and no more carlos hernandez is fat jokes... the bloke is a star)

and petrovski... what a diving cheat.

Hope you kick Sydney Flying Circus next week, Yours fans at and after the match well behavioured and joining in with Mariner fans after the game in a sing along at the club across the road from Bluetounge great fun to watch.

Hernandez is a very good player first time I have seen him in the flesh, Archie how you can keep this guy from going to Europe amazes me.

Agian best of luck next week.

CCM's first goal looked like Sasho Dogovski's winner against us (sorry to resurrect that painful memory).  Nice to see we're not the only team to let in easy goals.  Keenan's red was pretty bad, but at a club like Chelsea (isn't he from there?) Jose would have justified it so Keenan is probably genuinely mystified as to why he was sent off!
