Celebrations = Bonding?

ok rando cooment, but I've noticed how well the Nix celebrate their goals compared to other HAL teams. Even on our sixth goal on the weekend they indulged in the pleasures of a group hug. Some other teams have none of that bonding following a bulge of the onion bag.

Is this beacuse we are a tight unit do you think (or that we just like man love)?

Well everyone apart from Chen, hopefully it means they are a tight unit and enjoy each others successes.

Yep have noticed this as I saw the highlights of the round. Sometimes in other teams the goal scorer is left to celebrate by himself.

I have noticed a few times, after someone scoring, Greenacre beckoning people to gather into the huddle... so all the stragglers usually get across to congratulate whoever scored.

I think it's a good thing. It inspires team spirit.

It is probably something that comes out of being seen as the outsiders, and also our lack of goals so far this season. Really great to see, long may it continue!

I love the bromance. Whenever we score, I try a sneaky reach-around.
I like tautologies because I like them.

Perhaps it is because we don;t score that many goals, except last week

I'll try to avoid standing next to Cosimo.

Ha i noticed that exact thing then when watching the highlights show. Some very muted reactions to goals. NQF seemed to celebrate as well, a bottom of the table thing?

Totally off topic but was watching the Two up front podcast and Ross Aloisi said that any time the Phoenix got a result Terry S would make them have shots of Chartreuse

Oh and they interviewed Greenacre this week too.

Maybe they don't like Chartreuse. That could explain all the draws

Greenacre did mention that Terry hasn't done that this season...

Here:

http://australialivetv.com/twoupfront/episodes/p226.aspx

It is a video podcast on twice a week, hosted by John Kosmina and Ross Aloisi

Chris Greenacre speaks highly of the WP setup, where players and staff are like a closeknit family and this extends to and includes the wives and girlfriends too.
Kossie and Ross seemed to like the way Greenacre came across.Very professional the way he handles his interviews.

Improving,,on the up, a work in progress from Italiano and the Nix. Bring on the bathroom bling in '24! COYN!

The odd man hug and friendly wrestle is fine but I think you might be wanting gayness.

I thought Halaliti's [sic] celebration last night was pretty intense also.

Great to see the team so tight. There have been a few interviews recently where players have said how well the  get on etc.
Team moral is often underrated. It doen't matter if you have a team with star players...if they don't work together as a unit then the team will not perform to its max.

It is great to see the guys all celebrating a goal scored, it also aknowledges the fans.It was also good to see them against GC when they were pumped near the end not to let GC score. When you are up 6-0 many teams would cruise...and let in a couple of goals
