Celtic heading Down Under?

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Apologies if this has been posted before. If we could get them here, would this be more of a drawcard than a game against Wigan?

"Brisbane Roar". Quality!

Hard to say. Didn't say anything about New Zealand, so I would guess no. But who knows.

Would be a bigger drawcard than Wigan.
Just market it right and it'd work.

How many Championships do they have?
And Killen Could be playing for them...
But who knows??

I know it didn't say anything about NZ, but neither did Everton or Wigan. Just throwing it out there for discussion. If they're in the neighbourhood......... Jag2009-04-23 11:37:39

Would make a fantastic fixture, hope Tony P's comments about an English team not going to happen doesn't stretch to a Scottish one.

I agree that it would be a bigger drawcard than Wigan, probably not Everton but that doesn't really matter. Only really Celtic and Rangers that you can get from Scotland that would attract a big turn out. Others are hardly common at all.

I'd even be weary of gambling on Rangers, Celtic is where it's at and definately the best British option outside of the EPL top six I think

I seem to remember that he returned to Celtic from norwich not in good faith. It was all a little odd.

Plus you would actually get a sizeable number of their fans coming over if they did a tour. I doubt Wigan would bring more than about 5.

Playing the roar on Sunday July 12.
Any other NZ Tims going?
Will be good to see the bhoys in the flesh, and game will sell out no doubt.
Apparently they are organising an end of the stadium for Celtic supports which is where i'll be.
Tis a shame the Phoenix never got em over here too :(
