"The Phoenix are yet to appoint a permanent replacement for former chief executive Tony Pignata and club owner Terry Serepisos is in no rush.
His sidekick from The Apprentice, Nathan Greenham, is "filling in temporarily".
"I'm giving him a shot, to trial out, because he's been at the club since day dot," Serepisos said.
"And he's doing a pretty good job and I'm yet to see, when the season starts, how it all pans out. I must have had about 20 CVs over my table, just applying for that particular job. So far he's worked out really well and I'm quite happy with where we're at."
