Looking for a place to watch the Phoenix Games in Christchurch - may I suggest the Buck's Head (Old Jolly Poacher) opposite the Casino.

The managers right into his football and looking at being THE FOOTBALL BAR in Christchurch so is keen to be home base for YELLOW FEVER in the garden city. He's already signed up to be the home of the Canterbury United Dragons Supporters club.

Wish I was getting paid to say this. Went down there on a chance they would have it on - there ended up being 15 fans banging of the tables being the boys home on Sunday. Would be great to get the place full and loud!!!

They had two large flat screens going but I did see a projector there as well (not used on the day). It's better bar cause it's not so big. You need to be able to spill drinks when celebrating.

Whats was it like for numbers?

There were about 15 but would fit 40/50
