I'd rather have Long John Silver at right back than Mulligan.

Perth are looking dangerous this year, all their signings look to be first team. (apart from the few youth they pulled up)

Always loved his hard running and ethusiasm, but no doubt this is the right decision. Plodder, Christe, Jeff da Maori ow or whatever, he was worth having for the last two seasons.
You know we belong together...

Yeh Jezza was never the worst on the pitch, and I always thought I'd rather have him center midfield than Tim Brown

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

I quite liked him. not particularly for his football, but he just seemed like a nice guy who was always smiling. Wish him all the best for the future

Disappointed he wasn't re-signed.
He's not the worst player in the squad by any means.

Enjoyed seeing him score twice against Waitakere last year.

Has everyone forgotten some of the rubbish performances he put in, esp. in his NZ Knights days.

He's a classic Journeyman as some have pointed out and realistically that spot would be better used for someone with more talent.

I do concour with many who question how he could start for the AWs but not the Phoenix.

In both cases, because the All Whites don't have Durrante, Muscat, and McKain.

Does anyone know if Christie has signed elsewhere yet? I read somewhere about the possibility of India but so far no announcement.

India proved to be a 'challenge' so he came home.  Fisher played US1 Premiership all winter.

How's my driving? - Whine here

What happened to India?

The British colonised it.

Sad to see, no disrespect to Auckland, but i imaging it will become increasingly harder for him to land another pro contract the longer he is out of the game at that level.

When was the last time he had to have an actual job, if ever?
