Club released highlights of perhaps our biggest win? Maybe we had a heavy win under Rudan too. Certainly one of our best considering our long chase of the very frontline GC was starting. Joel Porter, first transfer intrigue!
As it was Ifill and Greeny did rather nicely, though as the commentators mention Greeny was under pressure to score prior to the game, as the replacement for Smeltz.

I also recall we had to win over Mariners one time some six years ago and did so in the last minute of the game, 3-2 or something like that, if I recall. Not a heavy win, but a gritty last minute win after they had equalised just before

Our equal heaviest win was indeed under Rudan, 8-2 over the Salties
Was an excellent day, got married and managed to sneak the highlights on during the night caps with the fam 😂
My daughter was born during a very satisfying Nix win! Though they haven’t come through on trophies yet, it sounds like with both these moments they delivered.

Now it is clear that the expression "Zip it up sweetie" could have only originated at one of our games in Wellington before taking root - so to say - in the rest of the country.
