Thanks for not showing this SKY...  much better we have IAAF opening ceremony or Eurosport news.

Anyway.

QLD should have had 2, maybe 3 by now, playing quite well.

Oggers just hit the post, someone skied the follow up. Marcinho missed a sitter from the head, both from set pieces. Unlucky to be 1-0 down.

Corker of a shot from Burns. From RHS edge of box, hits it with his right outside of right foot, drives it low and hard into left hand side, slightly bending back to the right.

big ups to the official a-league site too.  has been going slow all weekend with frequent time outs and no live match (not even text) coverage.

1-1 at the half apparently, my match reporters have dropped the ball...  to many Red wines is my guess.

Apparently it was that little Toerag McKay. Hope someone breaks him this season.

Screamer with a possible deflection off Valkanis.

Queensland should be atleast tie or leading, the ball is being played mostly in the Adelaide end, but the finishing by the Roar forwards is crap, Djite and Burns are doing good though, giving the queensland back four alot of work to do.

Nice corner in by McKay and finds Oganovski in open space who smashes it in with a header.

2-2 now.

It's been a great game to watch 100% attacking football, end to end stuff..Queensland having the most chances, High paced game like Last nights game between CC and SFC, and also very physical game 6 yellow cards..

.Tiato has been tackling everything coming his way with two feet but I think the ref is afraid to book him becoz he gets up everytime and gives the ref this crazy look.

By all accounts Tiatto was worse for some reason he lead a charmed life but should have been sent a couple of times.

Honestly, Moore, McKay, Tiatto, Farina... they make themsleves a pretty easy side to hate.

Excuse my ignorance but what took preference? I thought it was a condition of having the TV rights to show every game?

I listened to the game via live streaming and Adelaide would be pretty happy with the away draw given the torrid first half.  Tiato and Moore spent a lot of time hacking Burns and Dodd and I suspect those two will be rather sore this morning.  Still, it didn't stop them running, particularly Burns who alighted from Qatar (Olympic qualifier v Iran) the day prior.  Burns is looking real class and I wouldn't be surprised that come January there are some European clubs sending offers over.  Bruce Djite is also looking solid and doing a good job creating play in the middle of the park as well as being the muscle man up front.  I made the prediction pre-season that this would be the year Bruce steps up and from what we saw (or heard) last night it could well be.  Adelaide are looking very potent up front though there are still concerns down back.

For a very physical game it sounded as if it was being refereed quite well (Tiato and a Valkanis decision aside).  Macinho spent much time rolling around on the ground and received a yellow for simulation.  Great stuff.  I hope that the ref's take note of serial offenders to squeeze that aspect out of the game.  Interestingly Moore laid on a studs up tackle on Burns, took out his legs, and then stood over him demanding he get up and stop faking.  Moore received a second yellow for his efforts.

Make sure the Welly players bring the extra thick shin guards for the games against the Meow, they'll need them.
