I had a radio with me at the game and listened to Jason Pine & his mate giving an excellent commentary throughout the match on 106.7fm. It made it a lot better imho. Good stuff commentary team. We were listening!!

Listening to the commentary while singing along with the others at the game gave a good atmosphere. They commented that it had gone quiet so Block 21 started up, then Piney commented that someone in the crowd must have been listening. We were Jason, we were!

Fred de Jong wasn't too bad today. Infact he was quite good. I stopped thinking about his monotony after a few minutes, probably just got used to it.

Keep up the good work Freddy!

Big Fred even mentioned Yellow Fever during the commentary

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

Now this is where YF could come into it's own.

Internet streaming of match commentary, with the commentary delivered by fans rather than by the usualy media pundits.

Give the commentary more of real touch - closer to the bone than Sky's fan zone, that's too doctored and filtered.

Fan's commenting on the opposition and their own players as they would at a game.

I'd have a few choice words to describe some of Kleberson's marking today that would have made interesting broadcast material.
