see the Friday night game moved to Hutt Rec for my thoughts
All I do is make the stuff I would've liked
Reference things I wanna watch, reference girls I wanna bite
Now I'm firefly like a burning kite
And yousa fake fuck like a fleshlight

Conditions were aweful. Football was OK considering this. Phoenix
players need to get some boots with studs. Overall OK with some
touches of class thrown. I think Brownie need to stay on his feet a
bit more. Would have had two yellows in a normal game. Felt sorry
for Daniel, I don't think he has ever seen rain let alone played
in it before. Andy Barron looked the bizzo for Central XI,
Dylan Hall made a few great saves but neither keeper could handle
kicking in the wind (with it or against it). Lots to work on but a
pass mark I think. 5/10 but condition didnt help either side.
Its no longer a problem.

Me and my mate had a kick round for bout an hour and a half on the
field, and during the guys putting the nets up. The northern part
of the ground was actually really dry, the southern was real
slippery. hahah my mate slipped over down there heaps haha. We saw
that with Mossy slipping over once or twice.
Then we had shots on goal, man i couldnt get over how thick the post and the bar is!! girth factor.
It only started raining about kick off.
went touchline level in the driving rain and into a North/nor westerly gale force. Saw the last 2 or 3 goals.
Also, good to see the Phoenix getting around the Region (e.g Masterton, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt etc) before finally breaking in the stadium on Aug 26 vs Melbourne Victory.
good crowd at the hutt, sheltered in the stand. Forgot to bring my banner tho it read (think of the Tui banners):
"The Hutt Rec: OUR Theatre of Dreams - Yea Right!"

are they going to have the pre season games on tv?
Unlikely, they aren't even televised in Aus usually.

They weren't televised in New Zealand last year, so I don't think
so.

Who knows, new year, neaw team, could happen.
Dont get your hopes up tho. Look to Mr. Katsanos for all your
sporting reviews on Sky Sport.

Catsanus needs to take a hike, he knows nothing about football!!!
Was good to see the boys put some goals away on fri altho hard
to get any real insight into their quality in those conditions....
from up in the stand it looked average but when I went down to
ground level it was hard to be critical with the surface and wind
playing havoc.
Looking forward to some dry daytime conditions next
weekend!
