Went two years ago (maybe three) with my son. He still has the signed T shiort from Roly as well as his poster on the wall. It was actually an awesome day and we will be there!

Everyone complaining about the lack of signings, well there's gonna be hundreds of signings on Sunday!

Predictions:

Dome will be out at the carpark to tell all the kids before they even get there who won't be doing signings.

Rudan will be halfway through giving signatures, will suddenly wander off for ages, come back at the end and rush through them, but all the kids will be grumpy and throwing tantrums by then.

Yep. Nice band, Nixi and dancers on stage, players everywhere, kids activities + my son played football with Steve Taylor.

Yep Micki and I went. Lots for the kids to do, got almost all the player sigs and Rudan's. Now laminated and on Micki's bedroom wall. Caught up with Chris Greenacres,  Dome,  and a few from here which was great. Player presentation was good. Only bummer was the City Council vultures charging for Parking on a Sunday. Oh and the Race Relations conciliator gave a very good but short speech.

Dave Lucas, what a good man. Thanks mate, be seeing you soon. This season's protest is in the formation stages. I was considering doing a protest about having nothing to protest about. But instead,I have chosen to protest about not being allowed to bring in football rattles. This is especially relevant considering what I read an hour ago about smoke bombs being allowed.

At the end of the day, it was an awesome event, better than some in the past, including the player involvement. All were very easily accessible and friendly. There is a vibe about this squad. Our new coach might have got it right. I live in hope.

Thanks David Dome for the event. Micki is still buzzing. He took the flag to school this morning so the teacher could put it up on a wall space. I saw two other kids wearing Phoenix gear this morning.

We went, have to say Steven Taylor seems like such a good dude. Putting himself out and about with the kids, he even teased my son\ who thought it was hilarious.

Good day all round.
