Hey, I was doing the live blog and screwed up slightly.. Misidentified Pantelis as Sanchez for much of the game. Pantelis had a blinder.. great work rate. He was then subbed for Sanchez, who scored the first Nix goal, off a Siggy cross and a goal-box scramble. Just wanted to make sure Pantelis gets credit.. he was runnng off his feet and should get kudos.

Sorry about that... what can I say, I'm an amateur.

I'm just happy to hear that apparently both Pantelis and Sanchez (with a goal) played well.

Dude - that was a great service you provided last night, and you are apologising for it?! Seriously, your efforts were really appreciated here.

It reminded me of the good old days with the Knights, when Sky would no longer broadcast their games and some woman from the Knights (sorry forgotten her name) did a great job updating the fans

Oi Oi Edgecumbe... lets have a clean sheet

Twice zero is still zero unfortunately...  I just had sanchez on my mind and Pantelis is the only nix player I can't recognize at a distance, so i screwed up.. He had a great game, but ironically, as soon as he subbed off, the nix seemed to hit a different gear and were all over the Heart for the last half hour. I think the heart were lucky to get away with a draw.. there was one shot just tipped over the bar and a number of other close calls, it could have easily been 3-2! It was a great fightback.

Perhaps evidence that Sanchez has that "something special" we've needed?

I think he had a good game. I noticed both goals came when Pavlovic came off. Basically, I think Pavlovic just isn't what we need up front, which is a shame, he has good skills but he always looks nervous. He just needs confidence, he's stuck in the striker's dilemma, which is, you score goals, you get confident, and score more, but if you don't, you lose confidence and it's a viscious cycle. He gets in great positions but then doesn't control the ball well, he gets shoved off the ball by people smaller than him. He needs a "eureka" moment and I'm still waiting for it.

I always wondered with Pavlovic last season, he does some good stuff, but as you said, when he gets on the ball or close to goal, something goes wrong.. I really want to see him score a goal this season, and I think he will.

We will never fully decide who has won the football.

Thanks peeps.. maybe the nix will fly me to sydney for the mariners game
yeah I think they should keep starting pavlovic for the pre-season games, sooner or later he'll score, and maybe that's all he needs.

I just think hes well short of the desired ability. One footed and incredibly moderate
