It was awesome fun and good to join the Melbourne fans at the other end. Never thought I'd sing "There is only one team in Melbourne"!

Fever fans takeover the away end with a conga! Next stop the RBB?

Yes the fun police came out with 6 of them in attendance. After 6 years they still haven't figured out that our fans are usually pretty friendly even when drunk. I bet the Victory fans were surprised...pleasantly. I was waiting for you guys to start chanting, we're the north with the yf chanting we're the south.

We did, but I guess it didn't carry well enough.

And to be fair, we'd have been thrown out in a lot of grounds in Australia for doing that. So as funny as it was to see security panic and scramble, ultimately they left us to it.

Bet it spooked a few parents as well after the conga line picked up so many kids along the way. Nothing like leading a line of children to what would probably turn in to a knife fight at some grounds. Lol.

Was great to chant "Fever B" at you lot too.
Also "Judas"
Just excellent fun.

The Judas call was heard all around the ground! Was a funny moment. That we were losing, I thought Nix fans showed excellent senses of humour and good will towards the Victory fans etc. Did anyone else see the guy dressed as Wonder Woman in the front row of Aisle 12? He was mimicing the Nix players trying to keep warm.

Yeah I was over by him. Think he and his mates were on a stag do. Red Badge was watching him closely.

Did you enjoy the nixie chicks and the T-shirt shots into the crowd around aisle 12?  Notice the balls stayed around the other side. Normally in fever zone but bought my 6yr old son and sat along from your group.

I hereby put aside my grudge against the Tards MVFC, and turn all my hatred against the Jam Tards, aka the Harry Kewell Ego Gratification Team.

I still think Archie Thompson is a knob. Not as much of a knob as Kewell though.

The conga line is a Cubancarnival march that was first developed in Cuba and became popular in the United States in the 1930s and 1950s. The dancers form a long, processing line. It has three shuffle steps on the beat, followed by a kick that is slightly ahead of the fourth beat.

Also a song about Didier Zokora was then copied by a bunch of Brit Euro poppers as a song about doing the conga.

Had a funny moment on Sat night where he was having a go at the assistant ref and we started mimicking him. He had a laugh about it and gave us a wave before running off. May have not found it as funny if they weren't already 3-0 up.

The Nixie chicks did well considering the shitty weather, Nixie didn't show though - chicken! ;) Thiose tee shirts looked like the ones we got in CHCH. I was not alone in noticing all the kids from the other side of the stadium sprinted around to try and get them. A couple of other fans started calling them seagulls and made bird noises because they were interferring with the regulars on that side of the ground. Still was good to see someone come over our side although those Huawae footballs didn't make it over....along with Nixie.

Agree, I told Westpac and Wellington Phoenix last home game that they needed to focus on more than just those main aisles and it appears they had listen. Was a good idea of them splitting up the Nixie chicks and having them around the stadium. The girls in front of us appeared to enjoy themselves.
T-shirts fired into the crowd where Fever Friday typed ones, I caught one but was a small so gave it to one of my friends kids who have done very well out of me this season as I've caught 3 footballs and 2 t-shirts which I've given them.

Conga was brilliant on tv, great way to finish the game with that and then Brockie's volley.

I was wondering why I was sitting through the ending of the game but I just felt like something was going to happen to sign off the season and YF + Brockie delivered!

Gave the viewer a bit of a warm fuzzy to see the fans still happy and creating some fun, and always good to see fans mingle in a friendly manner at a football match, that's pretty rare.

Sadley, the stadium fence off between aisles 1-9 otherwise it would have been a goer, although no doubt the fun police would have been checking our season tickets as we passed through the zone to make sure we were allowed in that area.
