After a bit more checking it turns out that the person that keeps editing is some w**ker. He's been warned for vandalism...

I reckon some kid in England has gone overseas with his parents and told all his mates that he has made it big in New Zealand as a bomb footballer and to back up his lies to his mates, he has edited the page and created one on him as well. He'd be 16.... Kids at that age embellish stories....

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

"Conor Stares was born in England on the 08/11/1990"

Good to see you deleted his page Yom. Sexcellent stuff. How did you arrive at Newlands College?

I was refering to Coveny
[QUOTE=DrQuack32] How did you arrive at Newlands College?

Looking back, there were some other changes to the page. I'm not so sure if they're related (can't get IPs on users) but they were quite heavily about Newlands College. They appear to be related...

seeing as this is on wikipedia.... just saw Felipes page. Below is a bit of it....

He is arguably the most skillful player in the A-league, possessing an array of wonderful dribbling abilities and regularly beating players with them. It was even mentioned in the 4th round clash against Sydney FC at home (where Wellington managed to come out victors 2-1 with Felipe scoring a stunning goal) that he is the leading the count for 'riding challenges' which is amazing considering he has only played 3 games so far.

Perhaps slightly biased by the author

All - sorry about this.  That's my lad.  I'm not sure whether it's him or one/some of his mates stitching him up and acting like d*cks.  I'm not condoning the behaviour, but 16-year olds do some stupid things - I guess it's how we learn (eventually) to make good judgements in our actions.  I'll have a stern word and make sure that it's sorted out.

(P.S. He's a good footballer but not Phoenix standard just yet! )

Fear not - my lad has a season pass, so he and the majority of his mates will  be there tomorrow evening!   They might not have made the best of judgements in messing around with Wikipedia, but the fact that they do love football is not in question.  So, that's no punishment at all, I'm afraid!

They're all at Tawa College.  Dunno if you think that's better or worse than Newlands College!
