On Holiday?
If anyone else can think of an on-line store where I can purchase an NZ National Team strip from here in Oz would be greatly appreciated.

From what I've heard, it's been really busy at the store so there may be a delay in him getting back to you. Might be a good idea to give them a ring as long as the distance charges aren't too rough

As for other places, I'm sure there's a few places online, I think I've seen an English site but I can't remember the address. Keep trying with Google and you'll probably find something.

(And if you find a good deal, lemme know )

No worries.
Seems daft I can't go through the NZFC site though.
Only problem with phoning is the 2 hour behind thing. By the time I get home all the businesses are closed and I get home relatively early at 15:30

The NZFC is the New Zealand Football Championship. Why do you keep saying it in relation to All Whites gear

Don't know. These things take a while to sink in,I guess.

I should be saying NZFA National Team. Shouldn't I?

Supposedly Costa will debut against Bankstown in the Tiger Turf Cup (NSW's FA Cup-style comp) tomorrow at Jensen Park.

Suppose Old will as well.

The Rams lost 3-0 to Bankstown. Can't find a report so not sure how Costa/Old played.

This is from the Macarthur Rams site:
The team's win will give them a confidence boost for tomorrow night's Tiger Turf Cup clash against Bankstown at Jensen Oval. Kick off is at 7.30pm. The Rams will be further boosted with the inclusion of Stephen Old and Kostas Barbarouses.

Manly scored their goal from a penalty that was received from a handball. Besides that it was a pretty even game. Both teams had a number of chances, and Manly maybe a few more than the rams. Barbarouses and Old both played, Old the full game and Barb' 80min.  Chris Payne for Manly came on as a sub in the 2nd half and was energetic and had a number of chances, Cattanach missed a clear sitter from right in front and booted it way over the bar Zdrilic style. Michael Brown for Rams had a good game and seems to add plenty of backbone to the side. Manly probably deserved to win but not by more than the 1-0 it was, Biggest problem for the Rams is that they give the ball away too often by not making sure of their passes or having a shocker of a first touch.

Entertaining game to watch, plenty of action.

Any news on how Costa is getting on in NSW prem league - has he played / scored yet?

Also interested on how our former phoenix players are getting on where are they all and what are they doing, is Felipe staying in the A League where is he?

Lost again this week.  1-0 to Marconi.  At least they are only conceding one a game now, they were getting tanked.  Since Costa got there they have played 3 games, conceded 5 and scored none.

At this stage Felipe has no new club, Brownlie is scoring truckloads in Brisbane club football, Old is part of the improved defence at MacArthur where Costa is.

So a second win in a row.

After beating the Berries last week. MacArthur beat Blacktown 1-0.  No idea of the scorer...  I'll try and get some more detail later.

Sounds like Old made a real impact vs the Berries. Think they are starting to settle into the team a bit and it's showing in the results. (the Rams were the whipping boys until they came. Probably still are - just a little less)

He's done some miles this week if he played this weekend, seeing as he was playing the Phoenix on Wednesday night in Porirua.

Macarthur Rams secured their first home win of the season after defeating Blacktown City Demons 1-0 at Campbelltown Stadium on Sunday.

A Kostas Barbarouses goal in the 46 minute was enough to give the side a hard earned three points, and their second consecutive win in the TeleChoice Premier League.

The second-half brought the game to a stand with the home side scoring the first goal in the 46 minute, Kostas Barbarouses made a dashing burst towards the right side cutting in and striking the ball just outside the 18-yard box, deflecting off a Blacktown City defender and past goalkeeper Ivan Necevski, giving the home side there first goal at Campbelltown Stadium.

Kostas was taking control with some quality paced runs down the middle, linking up well with Michael Brown and Daniel McCann.

....

Player Ratings:

3 - Kostas Barbarouses (MR)

2 - Jessie Pinto (BCD)

1 - Daniel McCann (MR)

lol @ "Kostas". Old got a "3" rating last week btw.

Yep they got reamed the last two games and are playing the top of the table club next game. Could be 20-0.
