London calling. Been up since five getting calls and txts from the match. I could feel the buzz from here!!!

Loved it when my sister called from the AISLE 21 and said "listen to this"... and there it was "we want five. we want five!!!!!"

Profile pic. Should you be interested. Lakhsen, on the right, lost touch with him.
Mohammed, on the left, I'm still in touch with. He's now living in Agadez, Niger. More focused on his animals now as tourism has dried up. Is active with a co-op promoting local goods, leather work and bijouterie, into Europe.

Just got home now, the crowd was magic.

If we can get a growd like that in this weather, with a win under our belts imagine the crowd at the next match.

Today I moved from Aisle 23 into Aisle 21. For some reason the Fever Boys were a lot more clearer today. It was a brilliant effort singing wise. One or two chants were not for family ears though. But most were funny. I had a few people around me asking what were they singing. I reckon we should put all the chant permutations on the Chants message thread on this site. people want to join in but don't hear the words clearly.

A proud day and what a score! I can tell my grandchildren I was there! And after the game when the players came over, it was all a bit too much emotionally. Those players shared a part of themselves with us fans then. We both lost a monkey off our backs. I've not seen a club where the players and fans treat each other like mates. It awesome and long may it continue. WELL DONE everyone. I bet Terry S. is a very proud man tonight. To see us win and win well must have made him think what a wise move his was in coming to the party. The atmosphere was awesome.
Proud to have attended the first 175 Consecutive "Home" Wellington Phoenix "A League" Games !!

The YFZ looked awsome from Aisle 30, especially at the end of the game when they were all going nuts. GOOD SH*T!!

when we sang 'stand up for the phoenix', and most everybody did stand, that was a pretty emotional moment.  a close 2nd was seeing so many 1/2 naked men in one place ..?

Was disappointed with the crowd size up until we got going...lack of quantity didn't make for lake of quality, the atmosphere was there and we still put on a crowd appearance the Nix can be proud of.

Man, everyone who didn't go because of the whether must be foolish haha...it'll take more than a little rain to douse the Ring of Fire!

RICKI HERBERTS PASTY ARMY!

/kept his shirt on

Was irked at the far corner for not getting up and into it, but big kudos to the aisles right of the YF zone, felt like the Fever has spread to epidemic proportions!

Knowing the fickle NZ public, thought the crowd in Wellington was extra good considering the weather (watched from Chch - fine and 22 degrees).   YF got lots of good plugs and comments from Harry, oops, Heremaia.

I'm one of the 'prawn sandwich' brigade with a seat on the centre line but I have to say that the 'shirts-off' routine was the best thing the 'zone' have done so far.

It was pretty hardcore.......

I saw Ricki score a goal or two during that World Cup campaign in '82. The mullet type hair cut was a classic. When i met him a few eeks back, the hair had changed but he certainly looks only about 35. I wonder how he does it??

I had to ring Frankie Mac to make sure he was going to do it - but I duly obliged with the blokes next to me and got my shirt off - was great fun
