Crowds - they will be crucial

There has been talk of a first up crowd of 15,000-20,000. Why not aim higher??? I mean if they market it right, and beleive me there is plenty of time to get it right, why not aim for a full cake tin??

Anythings possible and if they make the tickets cheap enough, simply economics will suggest that a good crowd is all good. But ya gotta learn from the cricket wourld cup that if u inflate the prices of the tickets too much (and u get greedy) then its gonna look crap.

Dam it giv me a 1000 flyers and stickers and il go round to schools, in the communities and in town to market the dam thing, u dont even have to pay me!

I reckon 20 buck per adult is a fair price with kids for free, we wanna fill this stadium right from the start and really get in behind the boys!!!

more noisy fans = more goals & better results, simple maths

Does anyone know how much a season ticket will be?

There has been talk of about $185 roughly, but not sure yet.

Sooo many ppl i know have gone off rugby big time, including me, too much of it, too sick of it. So we can scab some of those 'in between' fans.

Yea kids for free, adults $15-$20 i rekon. I remember for the rugby league world cup final AUS vs NZ at Old Trafford in 2000 (yea i know its a bit of a joke coz only 3 countries really play it) they were scared of not getting a very good crowd so they made the tickets only 5 pounds and they get 40,000 odd.

185$  seems kinda steep when you consider we may only get about 10 home games, I might just pay as I go considering its unlikely I can make every game!

Definitely a good time to convert some disillusioned rugby fans, hopefully will be getting a good cheerleading squad together as well just to provide some "entertainment", i'm sure Terry could work his charm in that department....

That's not a good way of thinking.
Im a Melbourne Victory fan and i not going to make every game and i will still get a memebership just because i know they are gonna spent the money on something useful.

You should show your support for your club by getting a memebership to say you were there from day 1.

Exactly.

The reason why the Kingz and Knights were not succussful is because Auckland didn't support them well, Wellington has to prove to the league that New Zealand does have passion and prove the doubters wrong, show why Wellington is not just making up the numbers.

Mate those Akl'ers got no idea how to support the team, the only ppl up there who no the meaning of 'loyalty' r Warriors fans, and im one of 'em, stuck by them thru thick n thin.

We got the infrustructure here that will suit better also. better public transport to and from games, which Albany Stadium lacked. And Wellingtonians know how to support a team

I thought that too. The only reason i didn't say Auckland doesn't know how to support a team is because Bloc 5 did a good job supporting Kinz and Knights.
