i never said i do it, but it can be done.
Oldest trick in the book at the stadium.
i know but i don't do it - i have a season pass.
i never "told people to do it"
i am not going to start an argument with you (scottishboy)
i have better things to do.
WTF ??

[QUOTE=whooooooo]if you are going with a group, all you do is by ONE adult ticket and the rest KIDS !! (they don't check)
= save $$$$$$$$$$$$
I have it from a rather strange source and am likely to be proven incredibly wrong but I have heard 25,000 tickets have been sold for this weekend. Make of that what you will
I hope im wrong but if we push 5k for todays game i will be happy
what ?????????
we are averaging like 6k
You suggested the idea, which impacts badly on the club. End of.
Napier tournament has taken hundreds away from Wellington
You suggested the idea, which impacts badly on the club. End of.
of course not, it's the promotion of the idea that gets to me and most other fans.

Car went over the edge near the sumit, went for a 200 meter plunge. I dont know if it was a fatal, I hope not.

yes, the wording has caused some problems.
what i was trying to get across was if you are that bloody concerned about ticket prices and are not going because of that, then buy a couple of kids tickets.
i would rather folk do that then not come at all.
people like scottishboy should not or lose sleep over this.
Gold Coast now want to CAP their crowds at 5000 to save on stadium rent...
They tried to do it earlier in the season and clashed heads with the FFA aswell.
Does anyone remember that 60 Minutes interview where he said he wanted to have a football club because he liked to make people happy.
Very end of this
I'm sure telling someone they can't watch the football even though there are 17,000 empty seats is going to make them happy.

Oldest trick in the book at the stadium.
i know but i don't do it - i have a season pass.
but you know about it, and your telling people here to do it..
With all due respect, if you need to be told how to do it you are a moron.
WTF ??

Has the jury reached a verdict?
Guilty as charged.
As loath as I am to agree with anything to do with Steve-O -
Predictions on crowd today? With all the talk of lack of all white tickets, labour weekend, lack of trains and some sweet sweet weather; I predict around 8,000 men, women and children will be there today.
Lack of trains hurts numbers id say
But remember tonight is like a friday or saturday night game due to it being a long weekend. Im going 9000.
but i did not say " everyone, do this for the next home game"
i said "all you do"
that's different to "do it"
i said "all you do"

plus the smiley, indicating you were proud that you do it.
Guilty.
Plus giving the idea to people who hadnt thought of it,to possibly do it in the future.
I hope im wrong but if we push 5k for todays game i will be happy

Why the sudden halving in crowds clarke?
what ?????????
we are averaging like 6k
Napier tournament has taken hundreds away from Wellington
Labour Weekend also sees people leave, but admittedly others arrive in town
Rimutaka Hill road also closed for most of the day, so maybe less from Wairarapa today
And with the Trains being down it'll make getting there more difficult.
Trains
Napier Stuff
Results
Labour Weekend
Recession - JOKES.
Like what the others have posted but like i said i hope im wrong.

Stop being so precious. It is obvious to ANYONE who buys a ticket and goes to the game that they could get in with any ticket unless the barcode scanners are so intelligent they can tell if you are an adult / child / student.
I mentioned this practice going on towards the end of last season on this board, in a negative way I might add, does this mean I am responsible for inadvertantly suggesting it too?

How come?? Surely that can't be right can it? Trains off, and that road closed? People from Wairarapa trapped in Wellington?

I think the wording of whooooooooooo's comment has caused the issue, I'm not sure he was promoting the idea.
I don't think it needs promoting anyway, those who want to do it will do it.
They should really try and clamp down on it IMO. Random checks maybe since it's too difficult to check everyone I guess.
Survived.
Road now reopened.
I went over that hill for this first time a few weeks ago, what a nightmare it is!! Felt sick by the time I got to Upper Hutt!
Cheers for that update.

You guys are under 18 ai?
I actually think they should charge all under 18s at kids prices.
todays game was over 6k. if you look at the crowd figures from the other clubs then we are not doing too bad. if you check out the wellington westpac stadium annual drafts it shows crowd figures at ROF since the nics started.
What was the official crowd today?
6,500?
Edit - 6507 the official crowd.
They never mentioned it on tv.
Egan2009-10-25 19:35:54
yup 6500 ish which means i was wrong and i am happy i was wrong :D
I was wrong too, but the crowd was very vocal today. Excellent stuff. Shame that our next game is on a Wednesday, I reckon we could have built on todays performance.
as long as we start winning more then more ppl will come to support our team at ROF.
