Well going on the 12.5 number we'd be down to 5 clubs.

OR tis useful if you wanta get rid of someone or take their licence away see Jets [Con] and Fold Coast [Clive] .. but does strongly indicate where and what FFA expect in the future say 5 years out ...
Last post for a while heaps of work to do so better get on with it ... Football in Australia is said by a number of media experts to be at a tipping point ... in so far as being accepted as a main stream sport with heaps of positive media ...
The Key KPI's are, crowds, ratings, net hits, ... on net hits we are already over the line ... if our Fox Ratings start to average 100K presently around 84 I think, crowds to a 14.5 average [meaning with finals we break tho the 2 million mark] and FTA TV on SBS to 220 to 250 K currently averaging around 90K ...
Fox increase by roughly 9% pa over the next two years [HHHMMM possible], crowds by roughly 5% pa [very possible]... should see the pay TV and crowd numbers where the reporting of the league will be totally different to what it is today... FFA / SBS & the teams can do a lot to help the FTA ie give them the best matches with good crowds for a start and new broadcasters ... however they have a long way to go ..
In the whole scheme of things the next two media deals will change Football forever even now the ABC and fossil AM stations who call RL matches in their cross overs are getting the A-Leagues results called in...
Every team needs to lift in both quality on the park and increase their crowds as I posted earlier within 4 years FFA will have over 300 matches to sell ... In Australia this will cause a major shift in sport with the biggest looser at this stage being Rugby which is really struggling ...
However in the grand scheme of things the ground day experience and that coming tho on the TV is very important in making the above happen..
Off for a while now ...
