I concur, on both counts.
I wouldn't trust me either.
Ricardo might be the real deal, my information might be
wrong.
Ricardo might be a close friend of Daniels - and they may
refer to each other as brothers.
I sincerely hope his brother wasn't murdered.

We emailed Ricardo and he (and Daniel) gave these responses. We are not able to clarify that it is him though (pretty good/ elaborate scam if it isn't though) so if you believe it is him or not is up to you!!

- It was the first official offer from overseas and Daniel liked the idea to play abroad again. He likes the challenge of helping to take Phoenix to the top 4 of the league. Besides, he only heard fantastic comments about NZ and wishes to take his wife there to have the experience of living in this great country
-What is his prefered position?
- He prefers playing as a left midfielder - attacking
-What length is his contract for?
- It's a 2 year contract.
Would like to add that the Wikipedia story about Daniel's personal life is crazy stuff. I am his brother, our father who's also named Ricardo never left home...
