PERTH Glory skipper Simon Colosimo will miss at least two matches after a scan confirmed he tore his hamstring during Sunday's win over Melbourne.

Colosimo had hoped he may have only strained his hamstring in the second half of the 3-1 win.

But the has confirmed a tear, meaning he'll need at least three weeks recovery, forcing him to miss two games starting with the trip to Wellington this weekend.

Is Downey out too?

Though it's not like the other team having players out seems to help us. Adelaide had 3 of their starting defenders out :| Imagine how we would be without Dodd, Rees and Lochhead..

Would be a huge boost to have those two back. They aren't the most skillful players or anything but they do seem to have a huge influence - their leadership is great. Those two and Brown are similar sorts of players though. At the moment I think Aloisi and Johnson are in good enough form to start over Browny - Aloisi to push forward for most of the game until he gets tired and Johnson to play a defensive role. Works well imo.
