Not one player rolled around no the ground, limped off and magically recovered.

FFA should reward both sides. Michael2010-02-12 22:22:09

Ifill did the splits and twinged his groin, but then he scored, and played on, he's all good.

How many fouls did they commit though? it seemed like every few mins the ref was blowing them up. it nearly boiled over towards the end aswell...

Both teams had some shocking tackles, Hearfield and Brown to name a few.

But they seemed "intentless" if you know what I mean.

I mentioned to mates at half time that I thought the game was played in terrific spirit. Yes there was one moment of push and shove and 2 cards each, but nothing too malicious.
At one point Durante had a close battle with Simon, the ball squirted loose, planty of push and shove and then when Simon hassled Durante and gave some of his own back to him, Durante was forced to pass back to Reddy. I watched the two players pat each other on the back for a fine duel, showing mutual respect and then got on with it

Nigel Boogard had a shockingly obvious dive.
And thanks to the magic of Photography, I now bring you that dive.
