The thought that management is reading this forum is the only
reason I keep posting commments.
I just know that one day soon Ricki himself will be sitting in
front of his computer furtively scanning Yellow Fever for
inspiration and he's going to come across some brilliant piece of
MY advice that'll make him sit up, clap his hand to his brow and
shout, "My God! That's it, that's the secret!".
Then he'll rush away to training to implement MY advice, which
will result in the Phoenix winning and winning again, over and
over, until we triumph magnificently in the final, after which the
team will be given a tickertape parade down Lambton Quay. And
Ricki, of course, being the gent that he is will humbly acknowledge
that it was MY advice that turned it all around and he'll
personally present me with a signed Retro Ricki t-shirt at the
awards ceremony...
So Ricki, if you're reading this, please see my post
about hoisting up-and-unders to the five strikers - you KNOW it
makes sense.

like Valeo, i reckon some of them might need a thick hide or a good
sense of humour, given some of the stuff that gets posted
(then again they might just use the fact that they are professional footballers and we are not help them filter out the 'occasional' Noddyish post)
