Great choice for Captain in my humble opinion.

Fantastic - congratulations to Andrew.
He follows in the fine footsteps of our inaugral captain, Ross Aloisi, and will, I'm sure, be just as inspirational.
Great to also see a leadership group to support Andrew - love it, love it, love it.
Roll on Sunday.
He dribbles a lot and the opposition dont like it - you can see it all over their faces. (Ron Atkinson)

Would have been happy with either him or McKain. Could the three vc's be based on the fact they're not sure how much game time Brown or Johnson will get but still want a kiwi involved in the leadership mix?

i think they wanted to create a leadership group as many other pro clubs (of any sport) are doing. but hey, what do i know...

Good captain, great vice captains. Johnson, Brown and Durante are all natural leaders. Not sure about McKain as I haven't seen him play yet but from all accounts he is also.

is Brown currently injured?
rumour has it that he was uninjured for 3 minutes in 1986
I like tautologies because I like them.

that sucks, he was vice captain last year and didn't play much. Hope he gets to push for a full time starting spot this year.

Congratulations Dura, I'm sure he'll be a great leader for us. And the other three lads can offer their leadership skills also. Just can't wait to rip into the season!!

I had andrew and troy in for dinner tonight, gave andrew the congrats, nice bloke, he said he will be at FourKings after the match, so will catch up again then.

I will reserve judgement on Durante as captain until I have seen his bobsledding capabilities...

More importantly you also had Fitz come in for my famous " Mild Butter Chicken" and talk some footy with you for a while!
For best service go see Jimmy at Monsoon Poon!

Great stuff Andrew, I think he will do well and I'm actually kind of surprised this is his first time as captain. Three vice captains is also a class move, esp with Tim being injured so often.
