Juliana only joined Dordrecht this year, so I'd say that Sardar would be more likely. If he WAS released so early, I'd have a few concerns.

Reading his profile on the Dordrecht site, it looks like Sardar went under treatment for a head injury this past season and had vision problems. He was aiming to return to full match fitness by March.

As for Juliana, apparently he chose to sign for a lower division club, for family reasons I think. Which makes it more unlikely.

Anyway I would have thought we would be going for trialling a couple of big guys, we  dont want to put all our hopes onto one triallist, in much the same way as we trialled both Krishna and Corrales for the one spot.

The guy's tiny.  Say's he's Dutch-Syrian, although the name looks Hindi.  I'm hoping he isn't one of the two european strikers we were told about - hope he's additional to them.

This guy could probably play well with Krishna <-- that comment based purely on them looking similar.

I hope this is correct. . A dutch player; even from the lower league could be exactly what the Phoenix need. perhaps we will pick him up instead of Krishna and then grab a tagetman and one of the other European trialists as well.

From what i saw in the other thread the second striker ain't too small from what Tony P said. Nothing said about where hes from either..

Height is not necessarily an issue,there have been some very good small strikers over the years.

I was thinking more of people like Peter Beardsley,Ian Rush,Tony Cottee,Diego Maradona and from my days supporting Napier City Rovers,Paul Halford and Gary Parker were all short players who could play.I agree George was sh*te.
