Seen this a lot and I really don't get it, Rufer's been nice off the bench since the restart but you can't seriously say that he's better than Matti in any way shape or form. I feel like I'm alone in thinking that Matti's been fantastic since the restart - was my MOTM vs Sydney and it's just beautiful how he manages to play like nobody's around him. The Jets game went to shark when Rufer was subbed on - again, I really rate Rufer as a part of this team but we underappreciate Matti a hell of a lot defensively and in terms of keeping tempo

100% agree, Matti is the only midfielder we have who is confident enough to dribble between the lines, most importantly he doesn't overplay it and picks the right moments to do it. Some of our best attacking moves flow through him taking it on through the middle and getting an attack started. Rufer has a great passing range but tends to dwell on the ball a bit, if he ever gets that maiden goal I think / hope we would see him start to fulfill his potential. He is decent now but could be really good......

no i do not think he would change much either but like you say if perth play a highline he has a chance to get in behind.

Lets not forget both Mccowatt and Rufer have had good games off the bench since the restart.

i agree they have had good games off the bench but are they going to change a game in a big way like you sometimes need your subs to do

Also, has Jones kept Sail off the bench or has this been consistent since his antics? 

By good games I mean they've come off the bench and changed games before, they are different players to the ones they would potentially replace, so add something different. So two pontential game changes, with the other subs as injury cover. Waine has shown glimpses of potential too.

Am I right in reading the fixtures list that we haven't lost a 'home' game since round 3?

I'm making the assumption that games where the Nix are listed first would have been home games. Also I think this final would have been at home too?

Hope to god someone in yellow manages not to fluff their lines in front of goal. Fornaroli may be below his best recently but he won't miss if he's given half a chance. Seems like one of those games where the team that scores first will win.
