why?
The crowd don't rate him as high as a player who can't control

the man cannot inish to save himself, altho representive of most of the a-league, he is especially bad, why do u think it took him so long to score this year? Most important thing for a striker = finishing, he dont have it

his original contract is one year, we want him next season yes.
and i'm pretty sure Ricki didn't bring him on because it would have been largely pointless, why bring one of your better players on when they are recovering in a largely hopeless game ( due to circumstances) better to leave him for another week to better prepare and come out firing this weekend

and i'm pretty sure Ricki didn't bring him on because it would have been largely pointless, why bring one of your better players on when they are recovering in a largely hopeless game ( due to circumstances) better to leave him for another week to better prepare and come out firing this weekend
also ferrante was a better option in a 10 v 11 situation, when the team with 10 is looking to close players down and hold them up to sort out the cover, and needing to regain possession with a quick foot in - both of which Ferrante does better than Felipe

However...

go!
If you're not prepared to bring on your best goal scoring
prospect in that type of situation, why have him on the card? If he
was still recovering from injury and Ricki wanted to rest him, he
shouldnt have been on the bench.
It is irrelevant if we had ten men, 9 me or 15 men...a goal
down with ten to go playing at home - you have to have a go. You
dont get extra points for only losing by one goal.
Agree with your point about his fitness, but if he wasnt fit,
get someone else on the card.
If Ricki didnt bring Felipe on in that situation, he was never
going to. So why was he on the card??

Maybe Ricki remembered what happened to Felipe the last time he
played against Queensland and decided, in the circumstances, it
wasn't worth risking a repeat performance.

Yeah, to be fair I have no idea what happened to Felipe last time
they played Qld.
I just cant get my head around this 'minimising the damage'
argument, especially when playing at home. It would appear to me
that Felipe has more skill, and provides more of a threat going
forward than most of the rest of our squad. So when we need a goal
with ten to go (and by the way, if your man is returning from
injury, surely ten minutes is a good amount of time to get a little
match fitness back...) whats he doing on the bench?!

yeah they took him out in a sense, about 3 dangerous tackles in
about 5 minutes, he wasalmost lucky he got injured the way and when
he did, sooner of later someone was gonna take him out and do some
real damage, it was ridiculous, yet the ref did nothing to deter it
from memory.
also yeah sorry i didnt really follow when the goals were scored, so it does stand to reason to give him 10 to try and get that goal, altho i think it may have been at the front of rickis mind what they did to him ast time, and having barely recovered from that kinda attack, u can see where es coming from

Yeah i think we really need to hang onto Felipe for next
