Jump aboard the first (only potentially only!) FEVER BUS of the season as we venture up to the metropolis of Palmy. We will stop off at a pub or two on the way and partake in a complimentary pub feed on the way back. It will be a fun filled event with a few surprises along the way ;) Tickets are very limited and selling now ($40) - so email bus@yellowfever.co.nz to secure your spot now!!

Sounds like fun. Where do you sign up? I assume we'll all pitch in for hiring the bus/petrol?

Ring of Dirt. I promised myself I'd never go back. I'm not very good at keeping promises.

don't worry, Memorial Park isn't the ring of dirt, more like the bowl of ashphalt

Yeah there will be some cost.  Will be on a cost recovery basis.  Likely to include some beers and a bit of food.

We'll stop off at a pub in Manukau that is part owned by Siggy.

Will post more details when they are confirmed.

Sounds great. Missed out on the Fever tour of Palmy a couple of years back as I went with my wife - but keen to socialize a bit more this time around

The Hawke's Bay Fever Bus (well my car!) still has 4 seats available at a price that is yet to be negotiated. There will be a stop at Dannevirke Macca's on the way back (and potentially on the way down too, both of which you will have to pay for yourself!)

PM me if you're keen

I'm in it, 'I'm on it  ,I'm here ,I'm there ,the wheels on the bus go round and round (at least we don't have to stay there this time!)

The answer to life's problems are rarely found at the bottom of a beer glass - but it's always worth a look.

Having previously used this mode of transport, I can assure you the facilities are excellent, the live entertainment, passenger safety & the toilet facilities are all top notch !

Is it weird that I knew exactly what this would be before playing it in my head?

Still 4 seats available so get in fast. Napier Phoenix, Mike CJ or anyone else who resides in the (sometimes) Sunny Hawkes Bay region get in touch if you're keen!

Sorry Diddy, I'm not going to be able to make it I'm afraid. What pisses me off more is that I won't be able to make the Sydney game either.

Will be interesting to see how many locals turn up to the game. Taranaki just retained the Ranfurly Shield, so that means the Turbos have a challenge at the same time.

That depends is there enough room for a skeleton?

I doubt anyone who supports the Turbo's would bother coming to a Phoenix game regardless. There hasn't been much publicity about the Nix game here in Palmy. Hopefully the Manawatu Standard and local free community papers mention it closer to the game.

It is a 2pm kick off right? That facebook page link says 1pm UTC +12, and we are still on UTC +12 until daylight savings kicks in the next day.

[Edit: nm thatis the gates opening time, not kick off time. My mistake]
