Come on. I dont think people are really getting into fever friday as much as we should be. It dosent matter that its the off season but I'd like to see way more people in Nix gear.

Im year 13 at Wellington High School, and out of 1200 people who go there, I know of two people who take part in fever friday.. Me and my mate, Im dissapointed. Encourage others to wear Nix gear every friday too and get the name out there.

Thats all I have to say about that. And cheers to the ones who do take part. I feel almost proud to see another Nix supporter.

Me and my Indoor team wear Retro's for our 'uniform', and we play on a Friday, so we're taking part in this. Also, you should yell 'Ricki Herbert's..' and see how many people will yell 'Yellow army' back at you.

yeah my lad's pointed out a number of changes in accent during a Nix game

often start out kiwi, then slip into native yorkshire when i get revved up, and the odd bit of semi-scots for "we'll be comin'!"

oh well, as long as they don't charge me three lots of admission

So - in Scots we have

We'll be coming
Rickki Herberts Yellow Army

Only 2 songs sung in a Scottish accent - I've failed!!

Although - my favourite moment was finally hearing 'Stand up for the Phoenix' actually sung in the proper tune of 'Go West' the last game of the season!

When Hibs, went up, to win the Scottish Cup - I wisnae there - furfuxake!

It wouldnt be the same. I bought mine when paston was in the store so I went over to ask him to sign it.. Luckily I decided to wear a galaxy training top that day (just in case I met one of the Nix players so i caould feel like a twat) He said "Nice shirt"  and I got nervous and diddnt know what to say so I said "Oh, nah not really, im a HARD OUT phoenix supporter, well.. not Hard out, but a big supporter...Well.. I guess I am a.. Anyway"

And meeting Ross was uncomfortable, because there were heaps of little kids asking for autographs then I waltz in get an autograph and a picture with him... I bet the kids thought I was the man.

Unless that happens again, It wont feel the same.

It was a good day all in all. And when They all arrived at the stadium on the bus. Ross, and Daniel waved at me..
My mates just stared at me.
Another Ego boost.

Thats Enough Bragging for now.

At the Queensland game we had a kind of stereophonic Scottish thing going on

p.s Possible Thistle v. Hibs quarter final.

Apparently I'm apathetic, but I couldn't care less.

       have Thistle changed their name??

(canny though, to keep the same initials)

If it changed, I doubt it would be to 'Possible'.  Passable, maybe.

Got to get past the stickies in a replay though - although another 3-0 win at Ibrox in the cup would go down a treat though

I drove the Fever mobile in (and conspicuously dropped the Junior News at school in it), plus I'm wearing a Phoenix shirt.

Workmate (Wilso) is in his Retro Ricki, so we're a little corner of Phoenixdom today.

How's my driving? - Whine here

dont worry mate, your team had a good run, its the quarter finals for the glasgow rangers this season against either partick thistle or livingston!

After we've given Ferrante/Meadowbank/Livingston the thrashing they deserve, we could take you both on at the same time. Make it a bit more interesting!

not at work today, but representing in the retro ricki today all the same. My work mates got kinda sick of me wearing the RR on Fridays that there wasn't a game on... haha.

Feel like a bit of a dick wearing it in the off season (especially given that its Socceroos WCQ time ATM) but oh well.

I have to say, today I was rather dissapointed. I diddnt see any retro ricky's or home shirts. The only thing I saw was a Hat... And that guy wear it every day.

Ive decided that I will put a message in the school notices to tell people. Also promote it on my radio show (School radio)

Im sure that there were a few out there. But id love to see more. I think that it needs to be promoted more. If you have any ideas, I'd be glad to do them (The good ones) It seems to be alot of trouble to go to, to just wear Nix gear every friday. But its not just about the clothes, Its about showning support and getting the name out there.
